PHS over Riverdale 8-2 to advance. At least they get another week, another trip to NOLA and a chance to play BM.

yes. very well played game all the way through with each Teams pitchers dealing and opportunities on both sides until the 8th. PHS turned the order over and the top of the lineup came through. Took the air out of Riverdale and got into the bullpen. Ended up batting around. The final score does not show how competitive and good of a high school game this was between two very evenly matched and well coached teams.

Play again today at 4:30
Thanks... Harbor or Casa Garcia is today; someone had mentioned Big EZ as a possibility tomorrow... I will give them this information...

Thanks again to all!
Thanks to everyone for the input and suggestions. We are leaning toward Harbor or Casa Garcia this afternoon and will leave it open for consideration Friday depending on times and such.

Someone had mentioned a place called Big Ez Seafood and Oyster House but I did not see that mentioned here? Any thoughts on that place?

Thanks again; and the Food Board always comes through with good info!

Anyone have any thoughts/info on Riverdale? (I know, I know, whoever takes this series has BM next round, but just curious anyway!)

PHS and Riverdale played last season but I figure these are different teams this year, at least I know PHS is...

NOLA airport/Kenner/Metairie area recs...

Will be in the area for a HS baseball playoff series at Mike Miley Park (W. Metairie Avenue I believe).

Looking for a casual sit down place for pre-game apps/drinks for Thursday afternoon, timeframe around 3-5 or so; and also recommendations for a sit down post game dinner Friday around the 7pm timeframe. Would like to stay close to the area of the Airport toward Miley park but open to all suggestions...

Thanks for any thoughts/information...

Oakdale is a decent team, so a Pineville win is not guaranteed.

Yeah, I agree... And on top of Oakdale being a good team, I understand that Pineville has 3 starters out tonight, 2 possibly lost for the rest of the season any playoffs. (Caveat: I don't have any direct connection to the Team, just what I am hearing.)

updated power rankings going into the last couple games this tonight and tomorrow.

I admittedly don't know how all of the rankings work...

Division I Select... as of today I see:

15. St. Aug 26.85 (no game scheduled that I can tell)
16. Riverdale 26.21 plays The Willow School
17. Pineville 25.52 plays at Oakdale
18. Byrd 24.98 plays Glenbrook

Any scenario where Pineville catches Riverdale moving up to 16 (which would put them possibly hosting)?; or scenario where Byrd moves up and Pineville moves down?

GOT TIX
I will be up San Patricio this weekend, weather permitting... Not asking for specific spots or anything, but can you give any info on depths, baits, etc?

TIA
Edited... I am sorry, I misread your post. Yeah, it is not the ASH poster's son.
Yeah... various news outlets are reporting that a 16 year old junior ASH baseball player/student (I will not post his name here but it is listed in some media reports and social medial posts) was struck and killed in a hit and run incident in Alexandria last night. Sad situation. Thoughts and prayers to the family, teammates, friends, and all effected.
Is there a TD bracket challenge/competition set up anywhere?

Rayne restaurants

Posted by j4lsu on 2/11/26 at 8:56 am
Will be in Rayne for baseball Friday afternoon/evening. Was looking for a local restaurant for either pre-game lunch or post game dinner. Saw Chef Roy's Frog City Cafe... anyone have any thoughts/info on that place; or suggestions of any other ideas? Will be coming from Pineville so could also consider any places on the way in between, but was looking for something closer to Rayne High School.

Thanks.

Check out SuperOne/Brookshires if you have one near for sales on Boston Butt (.97/lb); Pork spare ribs (.97/lb); even New York Strips (5.97/lb) and other interesting options. (NO, I do not work for or have anything to do with SuperOne/Brookshires, just saw their circular this morning!

Yeah, just a LITTLE bit different scenario there. If that were the case, it's wouldn't be because "things just happened". It would be NBC purposefully doing so to try to draw viewers/potential subscribers to the network.

good point.
