Because thats what guilt free is. 40 g of carbs in a serving is certainly not guilt free, man.
I guess agree to disagree.
Unless you're training for a bodybuilding comp, having a serving of that even every night (12 g carbs from sugar, 6 g from fiber) isn't going to do anything negative for you. I think it is objectively guilt free. Healthy fats, healthy protein, some healthy carbs. And some sugar carbs for added umph to fuel your workout better the next day. And it satiates you to keep you from eating Oreos or Fritos or beer instead.
So am I putting down a pint of that in a day to replace my shake? Nah. But as a 'guilt free' dessert that actually satisfies cravings? Yeh - show me a better alternative.
Gotta think we’ll get something soon there.
Market certainly helping.
Albemarle up 15% holy shite.

The issue isn’t the current price. The issue is the price floor. And I don’t think it’s an “issue” as much as a serious negotiation between A LOT of parties.
Negotiating now when prices are high certainly helps SLI from a leverage perspective but it isn’t a pain point for the buyer. The price for long term Offtake agreements will be largely based on an index and will be floating. So if lithium indices keep going up, the buyer will pay more and if they plummet again, the buyer will pay much less. They shouldn’t be so exposed to lithium price risk.
What I imagine we’re negotiating are the fixed fees and price floors and trying to get those up as high as possible while the sun is shining. Also negotiating liabilities and take or pay and flexing out etc.

Have you actually looked at the nutritional info?
Huh?
I mean....40 g carbs from mostly sugar certainly isn't great, but....why's it have to be all or nothing?
300 calories in a pint. 33 g protein. no added sugar. 7 g of fat.
Compare that to a pint of actual ice cream...
700 calories. 14 g protein. 36 g fat. 83 g carbs completely from sugar/added sugar.
If you're calling it dessert it's a pretty damn good option compared to alternatives. You have someone eating a pint of blue bell a day and switch them over to a pint of blue bell pro that's a pretty big difference for them still being able to get their sweet tooth ice cream fix in at the end of the day.
Not to mention for most people it's probably more like only a third of the pint per helping I'd say yeh....that's a pretty guilt free dessert.
I actually really like them.
Not quite protein dense enough be a consistent meal replacement (it aint easy/quick to eat that whole pint for only 30 g protein) but a great snack/treat.
Strawberry is really good. Chocolate not bad either. Vanilla pretty meh.

They don't get the chance to.

He did hammer it, just went right at Chance thankfully.
This has been a great game.

And no, we didn’t burn a single person in our bullpen.

How long before the good news hits this weird stock?
There's no telling at this point but it's starting to sound like not Q2.
So...in 3-6 months?

If you took out that one bad game their ERA would decrease to 4.73 and rank 6th. Of course it did happen but it shows how just one game can skew data in early season.
Okay....now take out everyone's worst game and rerank it instead of just Oklahoma's. I'm sure USC would love to not count the 22 runs Bama put on them.
It’s still long term derisked barring an insane shift in the entire lithium market that would wreck multiple Fortune 500 companies so I’m not too worried, but I want to maximize this so I’m pissed I whiffed today ha. Now just gotta figure out where to start buying again cause yeh I agree $2’s are on the table again soon with this announced delay.
I’m debating selling one of my other specs and essentially doubling my SLI position.
I’ll never go all in on a stock (or even more than 50% of my spec portfolio) but this thing seems like such a lock. You have big buy in from Roch, Equinor, and oh yeh the US government.
Super pessimistic scenario is $10 by 2029 which would be what 50% annual return? Yeh I’ll take it. And it’s completely liable to hit that next year.
It’s prerevenue so don’t invest what you can’t lose, but this is pretty much the only play stock I’ll recommend to friends and family, especially at this valuation.

Damnit. Almost sold a chunk this morning to swing when it shot up for no reason. Wish I’d listen to myself sometimes.

Did anyone ever explain what the Miss St catcher was up to on that play?
He was up to drugs or something.
That kid was a freakin' loony tune.

If anyone is wondering why we're lagging behind a very upbeat lithium market today, it's because of this comment in the fins officially communicating the commercialization delay :banghead: :
quote:
SWA Project Final Investment Decision
The four primary deliverables to be completed prior to taking FID are signing the construction vendor contracts (EPCC/EPCM), receiving National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) approval from federal regulators, finalizing customer offtakes, and closing project financing.
Smackover Lithium continues to make meaningful progress on all fronts. It expects to complete vendor contracting and the environmental review in the second quarter of this year, and to reach agreements on its remaining advanced offtake negotiations, which will help to finalize the size and structure of the SWA Project debt. This would result in the joint venture being in a position to take FID and begin construction in 2026, and to achieve first commercial production in 2029.

Game will be chippy today. Kentucky’s antics are 10u level
I really try to like Kentucky baseball but the high school girl's softball dugout shite is just unbearable. Especially if you're at the game.
I remember we started trying to do that shite in game one of jr high legion ball coached by the high school JV coach and he nipped that in the bud quick. "This is real baseball. If any of y'all want to be on the high school team, I'm not gonna hear that crap again from you this year."
Mingione is the type of dude that's gonna win the fight at whatever cost. He's gonna throw sand in your eyes, bite, pull hair, pull down his pants and shite himself. Like...sometimes it's better just to get knocked out, dude.
State is getting really dangerous now (stating the obvious)
Everyone else has kind of hit their stride. We have so much talent we're still figuring out who our best guys are.
We probably replaced our closer tonight with someone even better (Pitzer over Davis)
Our right fielder (Jacob Parker, twin brother JoJo got drafted top 10) is probably gonna compete for national freshman of the year and he just got slotted into the starting lineup last week.
Our catcher could still hit 15 homeruns this year and he just got back last week after an injury took him out game 1.
Foster is our #4 starter and he just went toe to toe with Hunter Elliot and basically got the win on a Friday night SEC start on the road giving up only 1 hit.
We have two freshmen who were high round draft picks that came to school throwing 100+ mph who may yet figure it out and get weekend innings this year (haven't yet).
Mississippi State is a monster waking up. Fun to be excited about baseball again.

Why didn't Hooks start the 9th?
Seemed crazy to keep Rabe in that long.
This game has been awesome.
Dogs back on top 5-4 with a big 9th inning.
