Capri is absolutely amazing. I would take a ferry there from Naples, take the chairlift up to Anacapri for great views of the whole island, and then go do a boat tour around the whole island.

re: LSU's Parade Ground >>> The Grove at Ole Miss
Posted by DaHurricane24 on 10/21/16 at 1:10 pm to Ping Pong
I thought the Grove was extremely overrated. One thing that I noticed at the LSU game there last year is there is no fricking music. It's just one big clusterfrick of college kids trying to act classier than they are. I would take our style of tailgating any day of the week.
I will admit that the Square beats Tigerland any day of the week though.

I would go to Olympic National Park if you have the time to make the trip. We stayed at the lodges in Lake Quinalt and Lake Crescent, went to the Hoh Rainforest, and checked out Hurricane Ridge. That place is awesome.
re: Alonzo Gee declined his player option

If Gee could have just developed a somewhat consistent 3 point shot, he is exactly the type of player that we need. You would think that if he just hit the gym and worked hard at it day in and day out with our shooting coach, that he could make that happen. I love his defense, but it just doesn't seem like he will ever get there offensively.

You could definitely spend 3 days on Rhodes. Go check out the ancient city surrounded by the walls and check out the acropolis of Lindos and the beach close by on St. Paul's Bay over there. Athens, Santorini, and Rhodes would make for a nice vacation.

Or you could do what I did and take a Hawaiian Cruise out of Honolulu. It was a Norwegian cruise ship, and it took us to the Big Island, Maui, and Kauai for 2 days each. I also spent a few days on Oahu before the cruise took off. It's pretty tough to go wrong in Hawaii though. It's a beautiful place

Kauai is the best all-around island because it is scenic and has beaches, hiking, and the Nepali Coast, which is a must-see. Ke'e Beach is really nice there as well. I would probably do half the trip in Oahu and half in Kauai. Check out Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, and all of the different shores of Oahu. Maybe hit a luau too if that sounds like something that you would like.

I went in 2014 with some friends and really enjoyed it. One of the first tailgates we saw offered us food and shots. We spent a lot of time at Skybar to tailgate and go out after the game. I would definitely recommend Skybar. Also, the fans were really cool throughout the whole trip and weren't dicks after the embarrassment of 41-6

No defense. No hustle. No coaching. Missed layups. Missed free throws.

I did it, but I had a hard time deciding beach vs mountain. What if I do it again? Will that skew your results?
What if I do it a bunch of times out of boredom? Click-click-click
Go for it, I just need a lot of results honestly.

Appreciate it guys. It's just easier to organize and analyze on Qualtrics than to just survey randomly.
Travel Survey
Posted by DaHurricane24 on 10/29/15 at 12:24 pm
For all of you OT travelers, this is a 3 question survey that should literally not take longer than 10 seconds. I need some responses for my grad school stats project, and it would help me out a ton if you took it.

re: Best Hawaiian island?

Kauai is the most laid back and scenic. Beautiful beaches, coastline, and mountains.
Oahu isn't really all that crowded outside of Honolulu. It's got some really nice, quiet neighborhood areas and beaches too. It has a little bit of everything.
Maui was pretty nice as well. The road to Hana was one of the coolest/exhilarating things I've ever done on a trip.
The Big Island wasn't my favorite, but there's still plenty of nice beaches around, especially by Kona. Hilo has the Volcano National Park, and you may get a chance to see flowing lava. There's something worth seeing on every island for sure.

Kauai, Hawaii is the place to go for a honeymoon. I'm not married, but that is the #1 place that I can envision my honeymoon being, if I ever get married, of course.
Panoramic sunsets and very quiet. Mountains and beaches everywhere. Can't go wrong with the Virgin Islands either though.

I lived in Blake, and it was not nearly as fun as I had expected. Was on an all guys floor with a bunch of weird arse dudes and literally all of the girls that were in Blake were the prude type that never went out. My vision of drunk bitches roaming the halls everywhere was not fulfilled
If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely choose Herget and sacrifice the extra cleanliness that I got at Blake. I still managed to have a good time though, just at friend's apartments, so frick it.

So, tailgating is overrated, but what does the bar scene look like after the game? Is the square worth going to?

I have a place in Grenada right now, but I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on Memphis.
Do yall think Memphis is too far away? I feel like it depends on if the game is a day or night game

I honestly will never understand the "sport" of hunting or what is so damn great about it, but I'm def not against all hunting.
But going out of your way to hunt one of the most beautiful and majestic animals out there, which is already an endangered species, is wrong. Unless it's for self-defense, it should be illegal in all cases to kill innocent, endangered species that are just minding their own business in their habitats. frick that prick.
Obviously, people's reactions of wanting to kill the guy are way over the top, but I wouldn't bat an eye if that POS did some jail time and dropped the soap in the shower several times. Justice

re: Accupuncture in Louisiana?

Most physical therapists do dry needling. Basically they needle the areas that are stiff or where you are in pain. It'll be sore for the next day or so, but then you'll feel great once the soreness goes away. It improves mobility and lessens pain.

Still places available in Batesville
I'm thinking about spending the first night in Memphis and the 2nd night in Batesville depending on what time the game is going to be for.
Anybody have any idea what of what time it's going to be for?
