Here’s a text from a friend who certainly is in the know. Thought this was worth a post:

“Longstreet visit feels more like a safety net. I know Billy (Glasscock) was uncertain he was ever making it to campus. Lane wasn’t really involved in this one. I think it was mutual interest. The kid has family from here I believe around then northshore.”

I responded with “so Leavitt is still on?

“That’s the overwhelming expectation here. Something happened when Lane went to go see him in Knoxville. Something that was certainly concrete enough for our inner circles to start buzzing. I think you’ll get an announcement he’s LSU bound soon”

Again I cannot confirm this through anyone else but this source is a benefactor of the program and a damn notable one too. I take his word.

Dude, just stop. You are so full of it. You are wrong time and time again. You are one of those that make up something and hope it comes true so you can pretend you are an actual insider. You have zero credibility.

It's not that Clemson doesn't know how to use it. They just choose not to.

This will cost Dabo his job next year.
Not enough alcohol in Utah for BK[/quote]

What about golf courses??
That is an Ole Miss scandal. Lane was not coach of LSU then so Ole Miss takes the hit on that one... :booboo:
So are you that insecure about your team and conference that you decide to go to a SEC message board to post this?
If Sankey agrees to something stupid like a scheduling agreement with ND similar to what the ACC has, Sankey needs to be fired. Screw ND. I do not want them in the SEC but if they are going to associate with the SEC, it better be full members in all sports.
ND brand has been hurt greatly over the years, and they have been independent the entire time. Truthfully, they just do not have the national following that they used to. Joining a conference would change nothing other than them actually having to play a real schedule for once...

It's only a matter of time..

I could see Mizzou leaving for the Big 10 if they got an invite. They are culturally a better fit in the Big 10.
ND can rot in Independent purgatory... They are not a powerhouse that they used to be. Their brand has taken a major hit over the years.

Depends. Has Kiffin won a natty at Lsu at this time in your fantasy?

If so, BAMA takes Kiffin.

Delusional Bama fans... You think Kiffin would leave LSU which is in a state that is deep with talent and no in state schools as competition for recruits? $25 Million NIL yearly spending and unlimited resources to go coach at Bama ? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Where careers go to die...
Anyone know the term length of the contract? I know that there are escalators in the contract that trigger extensions but what is the initial term length?

Underwood should have learned after watching out the Nico situation played out. Had to go play elsewhere for less money than he was getting before.

Can this be explained?

Yeah. Easy to explain. Selective stats from penis envy rival fans...

I know a coach that they could hire.... BK..... :rotflmao:

Who do we go after at DC if Baker leaves?

My guess is Kiffin promotes his brother to DC.

Finally rid the snake, his puppy dog (Weis because he couldn't actually be trusted to care for Juice), gave them to our rival, and elevated the guy that every player wanted as coach.

Now...just win the whole damn thing

Do you need a hug? I have some cactuses you can hug...

Not an Ole Miss fan but can see why they did it. Have to get things settled ahead of the playoffs. It may end up being a great hire for them. Time will tell Hopefully it is a short term contract that lets Ole Miss get rid of him cheaply if it does not work out.

Just saying, as a Bama fan he was probably the worst DC during the Saban era. But the players loved him and he is supposedly a great recruiter.

I am actually rooting for Ole Miss to win it all. Their fans have been given a raw deal on this. Would like to see them to have the opportunity to celebrate a title. Who knows... Pete may actually end up being a great hire for them..

Baker loves LSU and will not leave unless he gets a HC job.
