re: Whats it like living in a real bad ghetto?

If you move from a rich neighborhood to the ghetto, it will be terrible. If you grew up there and it’s all you’ve ever known, you’ll have a blast.

Your post was too long for me to read. But just taking a look at the title, it sounds like you got screwed.

This is terrifying and unfortunately the DEI system has destroyed any respect that I have for US Doctors. I am not trying to toot my own horn, but it is very likely that a large majority of doctors lack the intelligence to perform the basic functions of my job, even if they have had years of training.
Are Doctors in Canada still well educated and respected without having to be a DEI candidate? If so, is it possible to live in the US, but have medical insurance in Canada for any life altering/threatening procedure?

A man should be allowed to FaceTime another man, with a Bentley in the background and one million in cold hard cash sitting on the hood, if he wants to. What’s wrong with that? Their fans need to stop being such a puss.

Our defense is going to be popping with constant sacks, turnovers, and three and outs: The other teams time of possession will be negligible before Leavitt starts carving up their defense.
re: Tigers in the NFL playoffs

I thought this thread was going to be a discussion about CLK’s team being able to hold their own, hypothetically, in the NFL playoffs next year. Considering the talent we are bringing in, the dead weight we are purging, the staff being able to develop players to realize their full potential, and the ability for our coaches to out scheme the other team.

re: LSU Football’s future recruiting pipeline - Establishing our next Dynasty

Bobby, that was just an example to help you visualize the future.
For a school to sign an exclusive agreement with us, it would have to be beneficial for both sides. It doesn’t have to be Tulane. It could be IMG or any other school/institution that our program deems acceptable and there is a mutual benefit.

LSU Football’s future recruiting pipeline - Establishing our next Dynasty
Posted by jafari rastaman on 1/13/26 at 9:28 pm
We are a blue blood program, but I’ve predicted the future and it is as clear as day that we need to establish a recruiting pipeline or farm system to feed our program. Consider a Major League Baseball team with a farm system that consists of A, AA, and AAA ball. We need to establish certain agreements with various schools to be a similar pipeline into our program.
For instance to monopolize Louisiana, ULL could be our AA school and would pay top dollar for recruiting skill players out of high school or a Junior College. These players would spend a year or so maturing/developing in their system. A traditional path would then have that player progress to Tulane, our AAA school. If the player proves themself at Tulane, they would then achieve a bigger payday and be promoted to play for LSU.
The stakes are too high for us to be paying freshmen millions of dollars to sit on the bench all season. We would only accept freshmen on our team in the rare case where they are a generational talent that can contribute immediately or if we have gaps in our roster that need to be filled.
For this to work, we will need to sign exclusive agreements with schools to establish our farm system. Also the schools in our network (farm system) would not need to be exclusive to Louisiana. The above is just one example of a pipeline for players to play for LSU and compete for National Championships.

It’s been like this for the last 25 years. Don’t you remember O’s statement : “Back then, we used to walk through the back door with the cash. Now, we just got to walk through the front door with the cash.”
Imagine O walking through your backdoor with a grocery bag filled with $3,000,000 or more so your son could play for LSU for a year. You would have still been cheering your arse off, even if the newspapers didn’t know how much he was getting paid.
We are currently the #1 transfer class in the entire country.

This is a direct result of CLK. After Leavitt; i think he is a QB whisperer.

It’s a possibility. I did read that CLK doesn’t even like to spend 5 cents on a grocery bag. But hopefully we didn’t lose out on a QB1 because of it. I still think we will pull in Clark and Longstreet. Unless he tries to go halfsies again with the check.

I read something happened that resulted in his momma cursing out CLK in a restaurant, Leavitt’a camp then left the restaurant, and CLK got stuck with a $5,000 tab.

It’s to help us get a great QB. Guarantee he will have good chemistry with at least one of the twelve.

The only question is do you make a move before the end of the season, which usually doesn't happen often in college hoops.
We need to implement the CLK plan again; and grab a coach while they are making a deep run in the tournament. I hope they enjoy playing in the final four with no coaching staff.

How does it work? Is it like a low voltage electric chair that instead of frying your brains, it provides the benefits of viagara? What does it cost witth installation? Have you noticed a significant increase on your electric bill?
Would you join a George Soros funded group with a risk of dying doing what you love?

By now, most people have heard about Karen, the woman who lost her life while acting as an “ICE Watch” volunteer. She was reportedly trained on how to engage with ICE agents and what actions to avoid, but it’s still unclear where that training—or its execution—fell short. I haven’t looked deeply enough into the details to confirm if she was following everything she was trained to do.
Although she was involved with an organized network of anti-ICE activists focused on disrupting raids, at least one poster on here has said that the very people she was protesting for would not even piss on her if she was on fire.
I think this raises some uncomfortable but important questions about activism, risk, and reciprocity. I’m interested in how others see the situation and what lessons, if any, should be taken from it.

How many Ole Miss players will we bring tomorrow
Posted by jafari rastaman on 1/8/26 at 10:44 pm
so it doesn’t look like tampering? I think we bring 3-4 offensive linemen from their team. We can’t bring every eligible OL player or somebody is sure to accuse us of tampering.
