Deboer and Oats are have many similarities and both are not elite coaches. I can live with Oats. He is about as good as Bama is going to get. But Deboer has to go.

Deboer-1) Just look at how Ty was manged and there is your example. 2) He likes and agrees with Grubbs coaching philosophy: Weak, finesse, bi-polar.

Ty has great passing talent and likely will do better away from Deboer and Grubb. They didn't understand how to bring out the best in him because they have serious coaching flaws.

Bama will probably want to cancel that game for several reasons. And I would agree with that decision.

Grubb had no idea how to manage Ty mental state or coach him up in a way that worked . Add in we didn't have a running game and its no wonder Ty had gastritis.
