Beautiful women are the most wonderful thing in the known universe.
They lost Saban. Saban was the luster. Alabama has no endemic advantages as a program.
Chicago. Architectural masterpiece.
It's beyond tiresome. Because of its powerful pattern recognition capabilities, AI holds great promise in the sciences and medicine. But that's where it should remain. The indiscriminate propagation of generative AI will erode human rationality, strangle independent thought, impoverish human culture, and - perhaps worst of all - imperil the financial security of millions of families. Awesome.
Words cannot convey how weary I am of AI. Every article, every platform, every media outlet, every program, every symposium, every business, every meeting, every email, every initiative, every post on LinkedIn, every continuing education class in any field. AI.

Ole Miss is going to file a lawsuit against you for expectation tampering.

6 or 7 million a year for a QB who has never won much of anything is obscene and myopic. To put it in perspective, $7 million a year is more than the 8th pick in the first round of the NFL draft makes annually. It's almost twice as much as the 32nd pick makes.

CFB needs to be fixed, and soon.

Im assuming the 7 million is for one season, not two.
Still irrelevant. No championships of any kind since the 1960s.

I was weary of hearing hyperbolic, melodramatic tales of Kiffin's supposed "betrayal."

Ole Miss can now retreat back into the fog of its half-century obscurity.

Meanwhile, in Baton Rouge, a beast opens its eyes once more and begins to stir.

Yearly unbridled free agency is an unsavory spectacle. No other sport suffers this nonsense.

Needs to be fixed. Soon.

His "agency." Sigh.

Agree with this too. Some of them are so mercenary they appear to have no innate competitive spirit.

Another distribution of wealth tactic, IMO.

anyone who doesn't believe this is what is happening, is either wanting it to continue because they support the social program or they don't understand what it is and why it was created. You will get a lot of downvotes and so will I......but that'll tell you how many support the social program.

Anyone objective should see a link between the abolition of the old college sports regime and the prevailing political climate in the early 2020s. I dont think it was a coincidence that at the very moment society was being roiled by the "social justice" movement, we began to hear vociferous objections that the (predominately white) coaches and administrators were reaping millions, while the (predominately black) players were being left out. The two are obviously linked.

Unfortunately, the muckrakers forgot about the interests of the fans of every color, who are source of every penny flowing through the sport. No more fans, no more money.

Go ahead and pay the players their fair share, but make them abide by contracts and limit their unfettered mobility to protect the game that the fans adore.
Yes. The fanbase will dwindle until some roster stability is returned to the game. Professional players get paid, but have to honor contracts and have highly regulated, restricted free agency rights. College football needs to adopt the same framework.

There’s rev share, NIL, and private funding aka collective. They could spend 500 million if they so wished.

This is incorrect.

If the rules emerging from the House settlement are actually followed, direct payments to players cannot exceed the revenue cap. NIL deals are separate and do not count towards the revenue sharing cap. However, all NIL deals in excess of $600 dollars must be reviewed and approved by a clearinghouse to ensure they are legitimate and constitute a fair market exchange of value. Collectives and other sources cannot simply pay players in excess of the cap, unless they decide they want to break the rules and cheat, of course.
Agree. There is some deep-seated apathy and selfishness corrupting this program. No team pride, no loyalty, no competitive spirit, no discipline and work ethic. Just a bunch of coddled, lazy, entitled, contemptible, souless mercenaries out for themselves. Unbearable ro watch.
I'm so tired if watching lollygagging, indifferent morons.

Kelly's teams were unbearably dumb and lackadaisical.
Just hugged a man randomly.
Literally thinking the exact same thing. Looking like TM in the 2011 SECCG.
That was 100% Kiffin. He's a genius. His mere presence makes the Tigers better.

(Ha.)

Meanwhile, we are starting janitors at safety.

Sigh.

Modern CFB has many unappetizing features.
Maybe.

Maybe not.

We'll find out next year. If we don't earn a bye.

Aaaiiieeeeee! frick the rest of the SEC. Kiffin-led Tigers inbound.
