The NBA really needs to fix their regular season. They won't do anything because Adam Silver is awful and doesn't care as long as they're making money.
These are their two featured national games tonight:
A nuggets game where the Nuggets are missing Jokic, 3 other starters, and Jokic's backup. It's Jamal Murray starting alongside all guys from the g league or on rookie contracts.
The warriors game with none of their stars playing.
Pathetic product.

Adam Silver has ruined the actual product on the court by letting offenses do whatever they want and creating a situation where it's impossible to defend.
Thinking basketball ran a good video on this a few weeks ago. Players now just mindlessly crash into defenders and get calls, push off non-stop, travel, and carry with impunity.

They were also pretty mediocre in the playoffs last season despite their regular season record. They got taken to 7 by the worst Nuggets team in at least 3 years that was down to only 4 healthy players by the end of the series and had also just fired their coach. Then the Hali thing in the finals.
They're probably the best team this season, but the greatest team of all time stuff was always a joke.

The NBA is in a rough place right now. Gobert got a technical foul for that even after an extended review, which is just absurd. We're on pace for by far the most free throws in NBA history at this point in the season. Adam Silver is a disaster.
