If he possessed the ball in the endzone with one foot down before the defender shoved him, how does the defender still get to shove the player and that become part of the play? I thought once the ball crosses the endzone, after a clear catch, the play was considered a TD?
Seems to me that he firmly grasped the ball in the endzone, with one foot down in bounds. Then his second foot landed out of bounds. Then the defender shoved the LSU WR. The shove seems to be be null and void at that point because it is considered a TD before the shove.

I am sure LSU has the cost of rushing the field tied into the concessions to cover the expense.
My question is, are the universities being fined whenever a student or fan runs onto the field during the game? It seems the way the SEC has the rule written for the fine, this would be considered a fine as well.

Well I have driven down twice from Tennessee this year and both were losses. So I am keeping my arse away from watching the games in person the rest of the year!
He probably had to hedge his bet and make back the 1mill he donated earlier in the week.

The was mostly the upper level that I saw. Honestly I wasn’t very impressed by the amount of orange I saw. Tenn thought they would fill over 30% but I saw 20% or less in the stands

Then all LSU fans will have a better understanding of how bad we really are this year! Am I melting? Hell yea! This was a bunch of bull shite coaching today. And regardless of our talent, our coaching was beyond horrendous! We suck and now everyone in college football knows it!
Kelly was on a suicide mission today with the play calling! This game had nothing to do with the “rebuild”. No way we had even a remote chance of winning today with the way the coaches called todays game.
Na what is myopic is Brian Kelly pressing so hard in the first half and going for it on 4th down so much in the 1st half. If he had done his research on Tennessee, he would have realized that going for it on 4th down didn’t work well against Tenn. with their prev. opponents.
When you are only down 13 points, with only 25 seconds left in the first half, after an abysmal first half, we can all agree that 99.9% of college football coaches would have punted and played for halftime from your own 45 yd line.

We will be lucky to win more than 1 game moving forward. Kelly is really underestimating the SEC at this point and it looks eerily similar to the way he performed against the SEC while coaching at Notre Dame. I just hope we didn’t buy a snake oil salesman like A&M did at this point.

Damn our starting players that are out this year are starting to pile up. Which this seems like a one game situation but he is one we REALLY couldn’t afford to lose!

Well I think most LSU fans know in reality where our team stands right now. We are a middle of the road SEC team this year. But we also know that there is a chance we can pull this off tomorrow. If LSU loses tomorrow and we won’t like it, but it will be kinda of expected. Tenn loses tomorrow and then y’all have to face reality. Which means you are a middle of the road SEC team STILL!

Yes that was crazy weather! The rain was funneling in a circle right before halftime and the water was above your ankles by the concessions! It was their first game after the Butch Jones fire.

Has anyone asked BK if the fact that Notre Dame does not play in a conference championship, had any bearing as to why he left ND? Seems to me that this has a lot to do with why Notre Dame is always trying to back door into the final 4.
