The reported deal is $5-6m. Dont believe the barstool nonsense.
As for Seaton, I read that we weren’t pursuing. But I suppose that can change. I read he was starting the bidding at $3m+.

Like shite and pissed. Onto the next one.
I'm pretty bullish on the game. IU hasn't faced a good offense all year (I think OSU has been the best offense they've faced) and they've certainly haven't played anyone with our trenches. It's trite but trenches always prevails and we have it in spades. That said, Mendoza is so friggin good - doesn't make many mistakes.
There's a lot of recency bias at play here, too. We had a bunch of key guys playing with the flu vs ole miss and despite that, we physically dominated them - just couldn't put them away. And IU feasted on a banged up Oregon team.
I think it will be a rock fight but I expect to win something like 21-17.
Back to Leavitt, let's say you land Leavitt, do you also sign Longstreet or is he a backup for Leavitt?

I’ve read/heard nothing about them. We’re looking to close out biles/leavitt/thornton this weekend and maybe a few others

It’s not ideal that he’d miss spring ball but we did the same with Carson last year. He’s put together quite a season despite not being able to really throw/practice until fall practice in July/august.

Possibly. Wilson will demand closer to 2m. I know Miami is after him as well but price tag might be too high at that price.
You can say all you want. He's in Miami now. If he passes medical, he's ours. He can have all our money.
Accoridng to some of our insiders, this is the word. Leavitt wanted to come to visit earlier supposedly but Mario told him to take his other visits and wait until after the fiesta bowl. I think once Simpson and sorsby went elsewhere, leavitt has been #1. If our medical clears, hes a cane this weekend or Monday.

They may be going hard after him but he’s in Miami now. Zero chance he leaves Miami without a deal if he gets medically cleared. He’s our #1 target now.

FWIW, more momentum on our side with Leavitt. As long as he clears medical, I think he's our guy. We're still shaking the tree on Simpson, though.

Generally these portal visits are very different than recruit visits. The former is more around NIL negotiations and staff meshing than anything else.
