She has 911 kills. So she’s only 65 kills away from cracking the top 10 in school history and, um, just to note…911…you know, 9-11…so uh…kills…that was, you know 9-11…kills…little joke.
Respect to committing to the joke, but damn...

He should ask her. Feel it out. As devastating as it sounds, I'm sure the wife wouldn't mind spending a birthday with just her friends.

China seizes US Naval Drone in South Pacific Sea

Something to be worried about or nah?

A Chinese Navy warship has seized an underwater drone deployed by an American oceanographic vessel in international waters in the South China Sea, triggering a formal diplomatic protest from the United States and a demand for its return, a U.S. defense official told Reuters on Friday.
The incident, the first of its kind in recent memory, took place on Dec. 15 northwest of Subic Bay off the Philippines just as the USNS Bowditch, an oceanographic survey ship, was about to retrieve the unmanned, underwater vehicle (UUV), the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

As far as basketball goals, I think you should learn how to teach your son how to dribble with both hands and take layups from both sides. Don't worry about shooting threes until he gets much stronger.

The premise of Game2: Winter is simple: survive in the Siberian wilderness (where temperatures can reach -40° Celcius) for 9 months for the chance to win $1.6 million. The catch is that all 30 contestants (half of which are women) must sign documents removing the game show organizers from anything and everything that happens to them. And by “anything and everything” we do mean “anything and everything.” Here’s a quote from Pyatovsky to take that a bit further:

“We will refuse any claim of participants even if they were to be killed or raped. We will have nothing to do with this. This will be spelt out in a document to be signed by the participant before the start of the show.”
Is A SWAT Sniper Team Outside Your House A Good Enough Excuse To Skip Class?

Good afternoon Professor [Redacted]
I know this is going to sound crazy but there is a sniper team outside my house right now. They’ve been there for about 2 hours now and it’s not clear whether or not they will still be there by 6. I live in [redacted] off [redacted] if you’d like to check with police. In the event that there is still a SWAT operation around my house by the time I need to leave for class would you consider excusing me for the day if I send you my completed assignments?
Again, I know this is a strange situation but I’d rather not leave the house at the moment.

re: Heading to NYC Thursday

The Staten Island ferry is free and gives you a good view of NYC. Just take that and get right back on to Manhattan. I would go check out the World Trade Center memorial, it's unbelievable to see in person.
If I were you, I'd skip Brooklyn. Stay in Manhattan. There's a ton of stuff to do without leaving the island.
Uber in NYC is not as cheap as it is in other cities, but it's still cheaper than yellow taxis. If you have a family of three, it's worth noting that unless you have an unlimited Metro card, sometimes taxis can be cheaper.

re: If California legalizes recreational marijuana tmrw, does that affect all of us?
Posted by NeddieBumpo on 11/7/16 at 9:54 am to GetCocky11
Was in California a week ago at a dispensary, asked the budtender her thoughts on this bill.
Believe it or not, she claimed that she was 100% against it and that it was a massive step backwards. From what I could gather, the way the laws are now make it much better for someone who wants to get bud and smoke it. If passed, the new laws would pretty much make it impossible to smoke unless you're hidden in your own closet or something.
My point it is, it might not pass.

What blows me away about this story the most is the American woman Jaelyn Young who wanted to join ISIS. Her dad was a 21-year military veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's like the "Preacher's Daughter" syndrome times a million.

You've gotta get an X-Ray from the doctors after the swelling goes down (day or so). If you fricked up your septum, breathing could be impeded for the rest of your life
