70,000 posts and still getting a reaction from you. Seems like the "sad and pathetic" angle is a two-way street here. Ehhhh, I'm out. GBO

Etching his name in stone as the undisputed greatest coach of all time is the only thing that's driving him at this point. Nick Saban isn't the Bobby Bowden/Joe Paterno type. He's not going to hang around just to be the face of the program.
Saban will not retire until he eclipses Bear Bryant and his 6 National Titles. Book it

He seems like a savvy guy with a keen sense of wit. It's obvious that you let him get under your skin. Just take a troll at face value and your message board experience will be much more enjoyable.
Skim through my very detailed responses in this thread and it's a no-brainer. Dan Mullen is a very poor coach who manipulates the system. Say what you'd like about Butch, but the man is an excellent recruiter. If he could learn how to close games he'd be serviceable at worst. This is year 4, however. If the narrative doesn't change, it's only appropriate to label a spade a spade
I would take Lane Kiffin over both. I mean that with the utmost sincerity

Chipper has hinted that he'd be interested in managing in '17. Thoughts?

While our boy J. Simzz beat a very sweet, mild-mannered young lady (I know her personally) to the brink of unconsciousness. Her medical bills were around 7,000 dollars. Really a gut wrenching ordeal. Ms. (name withheld due to ongoing legal proceedings) has been in my prayers since the incident. May God bless her and her family

Let your voice be heard, young man! I bet they'll take a long hard look and Stringfellow and his heinous crimes against women if word gets to them that Tigerdroppings very own Henry Jones Jr. has an issue.
Get off your soapbox and quit being a vag. He didn't commit any type of wrongdoing while affiliated with Ole Miss. This is the SEC - we're in the people helpin' business

Today marks 50 days since the savage assault. I'm just heartbroken and sick to my stomach. He can't get away with this! He just can't!!

quote:Look up a few posts. My fellow Rebel has linked the OOC schedules over the last few years. It's not comparable in the least bit. Vandy has won 9 games twice in the last 4 years. Kentucky hasn't had a 9 win season since 1984. In fact, Vanderbilt (.496) is historically a better program than both UK (.495) and State (.491).
You schedule the same "pusscake" OOC schools and have Vandy (an even worse program) as your permanent opponent from the East
You keep replying and I'll keep making you look like a clown. Deal?

He redeemed himself by shutting out the most beloved coach in Mississippi State history 31-0 the following week.

I've done this to no avail
quote:Ole Miss has the toughest schedule in the country this year, moron
You play the same strength of schedule as State plays.
The best player in Mississippi State history, Dak Prescott, sprinted out to a standing ovation in Davis Wade Stadium on that frigid November night. Not a dry eye in the house as Bulldog fans - young and old, reminisced on just what the young man meant to the program. The trials. The tribulations. The ups and the downs. Throughout it all, Dak had his Mississippi State family. They loved him as one of their own. Very rarely does one particular player relate to a fanbase such as Prescott did with the fine people of Starkville. For the very last time, the legend, Dak, suited up to give his all for dear old State.
Then a corrupt coach who masquerades his sliminess behind religion along with his assault rifle wielding, habitual trouble maker of a quarterback, waltz in and spoil the sendoff. That is the note that SEC great Dak Prescott left on. Poor kid. After all he's been through. He deserved more.
He deserved so much more

Right. You'll just have to keep scheduling the likes of Tennessee Martin, South Alabama, UAB, Massachusetts, Samford, etc. while Ole Miss and UT link up with Florida State, Oregon, UCLA, Boise State, Oklahoma, Texas, etc. on the OOC slate. All Dan Mullen has to do is anually defeat UK and one down team from the West to solidify a bottom tier bowl bid and appease the Mississippi State faithful.
7-8 wins a years while making 4+ million dollars while going 2-29 against ranked opponents and keeping everyone happy. Dan Mullen has the best job in America

quote:Correct. Lets further divulge into their historic 2014 run, shall we?
Let's also keep in mind that MSU has the easiest OOC schedule, year in and year out, so they're basically assured 4 wins. Plus they get Kentucky as their permanent East rival, another easy win. They also got Vandy in 2014. That's 6 wins before the season even starts.
The march to the first #1 ranking in the college football playoff poll consisted of:
3-9 Southern Miss
6-6 UAB
6-7 South Alabama
8-5 LSU
8-5 A&M
8-5 Auburn
5-7 Kentucky
7-6 Arky
Tennessee-Martin
Now that's how the cards unfolded in order to obtain the coveted #1 spot, but let's not act like this was some unprecedented ascension to becoming the best team in all of football. The story-book, most incredible season in Mississippi State history was a culmination of luck, mediocrity of usual contenders, and piss-poor scheduling. Nothing more. The heartwarming Dak Prescott storyline is precious, but when looking back on your magical season, ultimately this is what you'll all remember

He can't, but that's not necessarily all on him. As I've stated, Mississippi State is the worst program in conference history - also factor in that Starkville is one of the worst college towns in America. Even with their woman beating 5* bolstering their 36th ranked class, that's really about as good as it'll ever get. State does well scheduling pusscake OOC schools to rack up wins and has Kentucky as their permanent opponent from the East. So 2-6 in SEC play will always manufacture a low-rent postseason appearance. Being the historical whipping boy of the conference, what more could you really ask for?

Riding around smoking blunts while strapped with stolen pistols is the definition of being a thug
Now run along, boy
Keep scratching and clawing to get out of the bunker that is last place in the history of the Southeastern Conference.
