Even Reagan who I love didnt accomplish what Trump did with Isis, Venezuela, and soon to be Iran. Though he gets credit for the fall of the USSR but that was simply us outspending them and letting communism come to its eventual demise.

IMO.. the dissolution of the USSR make the thing Trump has accomplished possible...

Trump needs to tell Putin to kiss his freshly spray tanned arse.

this is almost a laughable threat... we have already bombed Iran and what have been the consequences to that...

Methinks we’ve seen this several times before in recent years and the protests are eventually subdued through force and / or whatever subdued the previous ones.

IMO... This weekend will tell us where this is headed. I have seen reports the powers that be have shut the internet down in Iran. That is a pretty clear indication situation is getting real. If the protests survive the weekend I may actually have some optimism that the protests may succeed in ousting the current regime.

Time will make it less severe. Wound is still fresh.

Not the 1st time this has happened with OM... Tubberville left them for Auburn...

quote:

Why would you help them win anything from that point on?

agree or disagree... the coaches are doing it for the players and the income opportunity... not the University.

IMO... Hard to find fault with that....

Having said that... Unless signup sheets for LSU enrollment are being placed in the entry way of the Ole Miss practice facility, I would imagine it would be difficult to "prove" tampering since you agreed to the existing staff to continue coaching..

Weird play by OM...

We even tried him in wild cat type looks and it didn't work.

What did we do this year that did work with anything???

So probably not a reflection of the player...

Literally winning with CLK's players and coaches..

Employer furnished health insurances helped cause inflated cost going back years…

This is true because any time you remove the market/competition pressures from cost pressures you always have inflated costs..

Yet Grandfathered plans have lower premium increases over time when compared to ACA Plans... without exception!

Now let's do Rand Paul and Thomas Massie

lets start auditing every single elected federal official.. Judges would be second on that list..

maybe we should implement audits while candidates are running for public office... that could be very interesting.... Audit results would be public given the candidates are potential public servants...

But we’re in a system that's half pro half amateur where there is no expectation or commitment from the player. And that’s just not sustainable.

I agree to a large degree with this thinking... However, being a business man for 40 years I can tell you these issues will be sorted out in relatively quick order through the language in the contracts.

I guess ESPN shot down his interview request and he decided there was no point in going.

While this can be spinned (not throwing shade..) as a negative thing I think there is a very positive side in that it shows CLK is willing to adjust his plans based upon (at least) the perceived benefit of how his time is spent based upon his priorities and goals.

spin it how you want ... But this is my take away...

re: 0W-16 Weight motor oil? WTF

It's not the 0 that would be concern, it's the 16 and how it would quickly shear down in more extreme hot conditions that happen in the south.

I do get that... Needless to say, all oils have some form of a life span on it when in use. I would be interested in seeing the oil change intervals recommended in the manual.... Also if it recommends a heavier weight for hotter temps...

As someone mentioned previously, sending oil samples off for testing would help monitor real world oil degradation...

No way can that be good for longevity.

The "0" weight oil circulates more freely through the motor when cold. Considering most of the wear in you motor occurs in the 1st 30 seconds of start up, this actually improves the longevity of your motor.

of the WWII stock, the P51 and P38 were my fav's ....

This is just another form of virtue signaling...

And a massive display of ignorance concerning the coaching search process.. No body contacts the coaches during the search. Any dialogue that happens during the search process is between the coaches agents and university representatives...

But Dave, you do you...

They have their traditions and we have ours.. I prefer to keep ours.

The amount of people reeking of weed and smoking in public is just out of control. It's aging me and I'll start shouting at clouds soon.

I was in Amsterdam for several days in 2017 and you could be walking down the street randomly smelling weed. Speaking with one of the locals they indicated generally the people that smoked weed in public were tourists. The native populace did not engage in the stuff in public venues...

That was an interesting observation to me...

This perception my have more to do with the quality of people you associate with than their political/economic inclinations...

he is still an elite talent that can be coached up to his full potential.

Not to be a buzz kill but you are assuming he will take the responsibility required to be "coached up"...

Sometimes people with a great deal of raw talent have the tendency to simply coast on that talent...

Having said that I have no idea where this guy is at... he might be hungry to have someone coach him up...
