I oversee operations for a small independent around the Shreveport area. I heard Apex picked up another 2 rigs to make it 14 total in the legacy Haynesville. I did also find out they found the deep Haynesville around the Robeline area and Comstock/Apex/Ensight are setting their targets to extend either the western Haynesville or legacy over into that the central LA area. Seismic is being done now but they are looking at a 100 square mile area and are drilling test wells now in each corner. Very promising stuff to help boost the economy.

Man I wish we would’ve offered a blank check to Cignetti. What he’s done with that program in such a short amount of time is unreal. I’m hoping the Kiffin era will look just like Cignetti’s tenure at Indiana.

Will be interesting to hear if he signed or not. I really hope it hasn’t come down to a bidding war like others are stating. Maybe after last night’s game they realized it will be a bigger rebuild than originally thought.

Heard the same update, he apparently purchased a home yesterday.
They’re going to try and get a surge of support (money) and will announce his extension next Saturday.

Shouldn’t we have received the official news of whoever the coach will be by now? Will this delay impact signing class/portal window? I like and hope we get Kiffin but I haven’t felt at all in his interviews that he’s going to make a switch to a new school. Hoping I’m wrong

I just genuinely hope whether it’s Lane or not that the next coach wants to coach here and it’s not only about money.
