I assume they can’t coach practices either when suspended. Was he allowed to coach pre season camp?

I will say though, having a bad basketball team isn't near as detrimental as having a bad football team get destroyed on national TV.
or.... just search the team names on YT and you'll get a hit. If they strike it mid-game, wait 30 seconds and another one will be live.

NCAA should argue that Ole Miss is a member program and the fact that Chambliss agreed to play for them is an agreement to follow the rules set by the governing body that the members agreed to via conference commissioners.

Well last year there was a portal window after the spring game for people to watch your players and offer them money to leave. Thats gone.

They were given authority by their member schools. Thats what the NCAA is. The fact that their member's continue to try to fight them at every turn is stupid. It'd be like an NFL franchise suing the NFL.
If you want to play for a member school, you have to follow the membership rules.

The buyout difference between now and the end of the season is irrelevant at this point.
The difference is that Bk was killing the brand. That was straight from a big booster's mouth. Basketball has been bad for a long time and made money. If boosters want him gone, he'll be gone. If they don't, he won't. This isn't really a Verge call. It would cost about $8.5M to buy out the BBall staff.
