The fake idol play was awesome. Great timing by Devens. AND he didn't try to play it and had a good fake excuse for not using it.

Yeah that was absolutely brilliant. When they first planted it, I wasn’t sure how they were going to play it out later. But he played it to dramatic perfection, definitely saved them from going home (the frantic whispering made it clear they were the original target)…and to boot had the perfect excuse for not “playing” it. Absolute perfection and an all time top 10 tribal moment.

I feel like Jonathan is displaying too much control lately, and that along with his physical prowess has me worried for him.

You had me at 15 King Cobras and 10 Black Mambas.
Scott Weiland really creeped me out in this video. STP wasn’t much on my radar back then, but I absolutely loved a couple Velvet Revolver songs. But the whole heroin chic look didn’t do it for me. Then I saw STP on a whim around 2011 and realized Weiland is one of the greatest front men in the history of rock.

Slither and Fall to Pieces are two of my favorite songs of that era.

Dale is my favorite coach in any sport on any level.
Les Miles is second.

Keeping watch - that’s when the mud snakes start moving.

When I hit the Everglades or other swampy areas, I just wear my rubber Irish Setter or Dryshod boots and I feel well protected. And since they fit a bit loosely due to my skinny chicken legs, I feel the gap between boot & leg is beneficial. The boot is going to snag fang before it reaches leg. They are heavy and cumbersome though. Out west I’m walking rocky areas a lot, so leather/gore-tex is a bit more comfortable to walk in.

I got a pair of Rocky snake boots last year for around $200. Not bad, but a year later they are showing serious wear. Granted, I put them to good use, but I thought they’d hold up better. Decently comfortable but had their faults.

Looking to upgrade before I go west this year. I just need to find some of those $400 boots in stock to try on before I buy. Got my eye on Chippewa or maybe Danners.
…or one might argue that a pine snake is the southeastern version of a bull/gopher snake.

I’m going hunting for Florida pine snakes later this week!

I hated that St. Louis track - such odd flow. First season in a while in which I can’t decide who to pull for.
Hunter’s chance to step out from baby bro’s shadow…
Roczen might finally get the big one…
Eli with a chance to cap off his career with another (though he should have more but was always a head case - and may be again)…

Think I’m going with Kenny, but it’ll be nice to just sit back and enjoy it. Hope Deegan jumps in for a few to play spoiler.

Because evolution.

Monkeys don’t exist anymore.

He is a good mid game player, that’s all. Last season he got by with having an idol. He doesn’t have that, he would’ve left earlier and wouldn’t be in this season. Sometimes luck has more of a say than ability.

Having an idol puts a target on your back, yet he made it known and worked it tribal after tribal after tribal without ever playing it. That’s not luck - that’s solid gameplay.
Superbad and it’s not close.

In the mid-‘90s I leased a Nissan truck for $69/month. A few months later they dropped them to $29/month due to surplus.

I agree with everyone frick Santos And jfc get off Langdons arse. He’s human, fvcked up, dealt with it and trying to be a better person.

I might be the only person here who loves Santos.

And I think her problems with Langdon stem more from how he treated her in the process rather than just what he did.
quote:

But then it's not like Langdon came back to universal praise. Robby treats him like shite and now Al-Hashimi knows and is on the hate wagon. We might not get resolution this season but it'll make for an interesting update on the next run.

Robby is going to be a patient after getting plowed on his motorcycle, and Langdon will do something miraculous to save him. Then all will be well.
