I can’t imagine the negotiations with the Iranians breaking off with no deal will be good for the markets in the short term. The last couple of months has numbed me to volatility.

Sounds like Canada is following the Chinese model of investment and storing all of their wealth in residential real estate. Not a winning recipe for long term economic success. But I’m glad places like this are giving contemporary case studies proving these economic policies never work. Apparently people need constant reminders.

There is a difference between straight shooting and stream of consciousness tangents. You can have the former without the latter, but that rarely happens with Trump. Obama is proof that gifted speakers do not equal good presidents, but Rubio and Vance are much easier to listen to than Trump for sure.

In a similar situation here (sans kids). I’m thinking to do it online. Being in a community property state (as is Texas) most everything defaults to my spouse. Most things like bank and brokerage accounts can be assigned POD or right to survivorship. After getting reamed on legal fees for the most basic of prenups I’m heavily leaning towards avoiding attorneys especially with my basic estate setup. With good planning, you should be able to avoid probate before it even gets to the will. (Unless you’re in Louisiana in which case you’re screwed).
