I have owned property in both locations. Dallas by far is a much cleaner and in my opinion safer city. If you live north of Dallas you are in a safe bubble and everything you need is there (great schools, restaurants, etc.). The infrastructure is well planned and the neighborhoods are fantastic with many amenities geared toward all different life stages. Once you live there and have all those conveniences it’s hard to imagine living somewhere else. The only negative is high property taxes which is offset with great schools and no state income tax.
