How’s your 2026 going?

Mine started off strong with nice new years vacation after a successful 2025…
2 months in I’m swamped at work, stressing about work on weekends, trying to workout and managing stress in a healthy way, but just started vaping again this week to help deal with stress without weed and alcohol.
News everyday is depressing as hell, no football on, feel no interest in tv. Podcast , or music like I used to last year.
But I gotta lock in and Man the frick up and get the work done. I’m freaking miserable at work right but the next 2 months will set the tone for rest of the year. I’m going to suck it up and kick this year in the fricking mouth.
How you guys doing?

Dumbasses. Why would they use renewable resources like solar and wind when they could use coal or imported natural gas and oil?
Yeah and what ppl don't realize is all the chatai BS is just going to create more and more data centers . Ai data center will soak up so much water and power it’s going to create a shortage for humans . Not to mention the physical footprint . Low jobs after construction phase.

Maybe Ford can start a trade school and get certified by the US dept of education.
Start a program where you train high schoolers/ recent grads to be mechanics/ other trades and retain them as mechanics when they graduate.

The reporters questions were 1000% valid. Defense saved our arse. That would be the same first question from any reporter to any head coach after a game like that.
Kelly knows it, didn’t have an answer, got aggressive and intimidated the rest of the reporters , by getting loud , to not ask about the offensive debacle of a performance.
No composure after our longest play of the game: fumble , the interception.

If I were a rich man, I would start a free boarding school to send the low income youth in the wilderness from K-18 years old to curve the crime problem in urban Baton Rouge. No television, no phones. Just books, music instruments , sports, job skills training, art classes. Along with good ole reading, writing and arithmetic.
Pretty much like a hogwarts for poor children. Get them out of the ghetto to break the cycle for a generation or 2 .

So I eventually I asking him “ is Jane your partner?”
He said yes and we moved on without missing a beat.
In this case, I used “partner “ as a catch all term bc I didn’t know if it was his girlfriend or fiancé.
Didn’t seem awkward or gay. If he was married , I probably would’ve have asked “is Jane your daughter or wife?”
I’ve heard it used by “straights” before. Not as common but who really gives a crap.

If you split the USA in roughly equal halves : Louisiana to Minnesota east in American A; vs Texas* to North Dakota west is America B …
