No one at FSU had a problem paying Norvell in the neighborhood of $10 million a year. He’s been over performing his current contract for the past two years. The guy even took a pay cut his first year in so we can get be done paying Willie Taggart’s arse off early.
Saban retiring was actually a good thing for FSU. Norvell got a new contract. All the assistant coaches got big raises. And the university committed nearly $400 million the facility upgrades that just started.
