I don’t usually check for phones/emails, it is funny that many times the other businesses using that same address are often medical related.

So say a guy calls to book a load and I’ll run a quick check on them, it’ll show a company with only 1 truck/driver, but yet operating our of a big high rise in Chicago with an apartment or suite number attached. Googing that address/suite number usually yields a ton of other businesses and a service that offers to pay a fee to use that address to set up a business.
In the industry, this is quite common. So much so that when setting up a new carrier company I always double check their listed address, many times just googling the address shows 10+ different businesses listed at the exact same address.
Has he always cussed like this or is this some sort of long-game play where he eventually gets to tell JD "f*** you" on the debate stage and he expects it to be some mike-drop moment for him?
Sounds like you need to try to find an old John Deere X595 or whatever the modern equivalent is they make these days. We've used one to claw back some pretty unruly sections of some property before. 25hp diesel and 4x4 comes in quite handy.

Went once, it's decent enough for what it is, it was like $35 for the wife and I with a drink and I probably got a couple pieces more than I should have so could've been a bit cheaper. Good enough for a quick casual lunch spot when running errands or whatever.

If Honda really is that far back I feel like it's their own fault. Their non-commitment to F1 is what brought about Red Bull building their own engines, though likely leaning on a ton of Honda engineering. Only for Honda to do a complete 180 and decide to stay in F1 and build engines for Aston.

My kids don’t eat nearly the amount of junk that I ate as a kid.

We don't really keep a ton of junk in the house but I'm always amazed when offered snacks my kids(2.5 & 5 years old) will often pick something decent like a banana or strawberries or grapes. The other day I offered my 5 year old a sip of a coke realizing she's never tried it before, she refused. On Saturday I offered them free-range on the snack cabinet, my little boy returned with a granola bar and smashed it. A few months ago my little girl cried when I made her try a Poptart. We rarely ever buy cereal as it goes to waste. These kids are built different man.

A cold Uncrustable on the beach is tough to beat. The Chick FilA knock off nuggets(Just Bare) are pretty good, I'll accidentally cook too many for them so I can snack on a few.

It took me a couple trips to figure this out but LaFonda is the place to go with a group of friends, hang out at the bar and get bombed while it takes a couple hours to get your table, crush a few caldrons of chips/salsa/bean dip, and order the same chimichanga that I always do, swearing that one day I'll try something different.

Our two favorites currently are Vallarta and Tampicos. Vallarta has been pretty solid and actually quite cheap. Tampicos is Mexican restaurant nostalgia for me, they had a slump post-Covid but seem to be back to old form. I hope that place never shuts down, it'll be a sad day.

All solid suggestions, could also drive one exit down to Duson and go to Rascals, Friday is their fried fish buffet(lunch & dinner), some of the best fried fish around.

The Mexican restaurant ain't terrible either, Casa Margarita.
Wait until you go back and pay and they tell you they don't make change either.

do you wanna post an example or 2?

The local Mercedes dealer in Lafayette struggled their asses off to sell off the EVs they had, checking their site they have a NEW 2023 EQB300, though with 3200 miles I suspect it was a demo. They have it listed for $60,950, AutoTempest has 2023 EQBs starting at $22,400.

2023 EQB $60,950

The 2 used models they have listed I'm almost positive were once listed as new on their website but they're out of their mind on those too.

2023 EQE350 asking $80,120. Can find used comparables on AutoTempest in the high $20k/low $30k.

2022 EQS580 asking $136,220. You can find used ones on AutoTempest in the $40k range.

That one has never really been very long but last year while the floats were lining up they decided to start enforcing a rule they’d never enforced about wheels sticking out past truck fenders and were pretty anal about it and kicked out about half the floats morning-of. Tons of people said they’d never enter again. I’m sure they picked up a couple entries with Carencro cancelling but last I saw they had ~30 floats when in year past I think it’s been 60+.

Yea that place blows. Definitely don't come hang out with me and drink beer and ride the SxS and run crab lines with the kids and slam trout on topwaters and get drunk at the marina on Bushwhackers. Yucky.
Any of those heritage DNA services should be able to do it.

We gave my parents the kits a few years back, a couple years after they did it I got a message from a guy in Arizona saying his dad got linked to my dad. Turned out my great grandfather had a sidepiece and atleast 2 kids no one knew about until just recently.

I've been waiting for a 2026 F1 thread to pop up here for weeks now and I just now thought to check the bottom of the page again.

My favorite wings around, anytime I take someone new to Central I order them and explain the best thing on the menu is the wings.

A couple years ago they sold this weird looking 6x6 Hummer on Barrett Jackson, Richard Rawling/Gas Monkey Garage had bought it from the builder to resell it and it brought $825,000. I guess thinking they could duplicate the success Rawlings gave the builders a beat up Ferrari Testarossa to do the same 6x6 treatment with. Apparently the deal went south and the builders never finished it so Gas Monkey has been showing it on their Youtube channel trying to finish it in time for this auction, hoping that it would bring over $1 million. I don't see it on the docket so I wonder if they were unable to finish it.

I'm a big fan of the 52-54 Bel Airs, especially lowered, I know, shame on me. A pretty nice one can be had in the $20k range and I think they look better than the 56-57 Bel Airs that bring much more $$$.

62-64 Lincoln Continental, should be able to find a nice one in the $40k range. I like the convertibles a little better but those are usually really high $$

Secure Access in Baton Rouge does good work.
Hodor checking in, I might pick these books up and read them. I bought the Fire & Blood book and go through spirts of wanting to read it. From what I've seen these are a shorter and easier read.

Early screening reviews of the show have seemed positive so far.
