I've heard some really good comments about Fish Box Sushi on Settler's Trace...

It's good for what it is, a fast-casual spot to maybe grab some lunch, but not really worthy of making a trip just to go there.

We recently tried Minami downtown and enjoyed it.
We went a couple years ago and purposely set our checkout date the Saturday of the show, and were on a boat to catch the practice session on Friday. The practice session is a full run through of the actual show, and while crowded, was no where near the crowds/traffic that we saw already stacking up when we left town the Saturday morning. So that's always my tip, catch it Friday if you can.

There's a Facebook page you can follow( Blue Angels Practice Info) that post all their scheduled info. We were there all week and were able to catch a beach buzz on the Sunday when they came in from an out of town show, then their normal Tuesday and Wednesday practice sessions, then the full show practice session on Friday.
I love driving for road trips, especially in an area of the country I've never been, and hate the process of flying. 10-12 hours doesn't bother me, my longest was 18 hours from Key West to Lafayette and another trip did Lafayette to Denver in 24 hours, that one included pulling over for about a 3 hour nap.

While you could get by with a 3/4 ton you really would be better off with a one ton, dually and diesel definitely preferred.

Source: I occasionally pull around a similar sized RV in my 3/4 ton....it's much more sketchy than pulling the same unit with a 1 ton dually.
Back in the street to keep the motorcycles from speeding. The clibbins keeps them in line.
Not sure who the people are but the yellow STO belonged to Red or maybe Red’s son. It’s at the Lafayette cars and coffee pretty often.

RocketPoweredMohawk is back…

They actually just deposited my partial refund since the next two Middle East races just got cancelled.
Yea if Mercedes is really kneecapping the teams running their PUs then you have to imagine this is partially due to McLaren mopping the floor the last couple years with a Mercedes PU in the back while the parent team couldn't compete. They're not concerned about Williams because they've built a pig but they'll likely be concerned about giving McLaren the same power advantage given what McLaren has shown to be able to do in the aero/chassis development lately.

One, or 7, of these after cutting the grass or working outside is perfect.
What he should do is move out and turn it into an AirBnb
Just watched the sprint quali highlights....

Anyone else putting Ferrari 1/2? They're bringing the flippy floppy wing, that thing plus maybe getting the strategy right might just put them up there.

I'm still hanging in there as a -1 for Apple, my attention for F1 had started to dwindle a little, from someone that watched every FP session, quali, and each race to occasional FP sessions & quali and if I couldn't fit the race into my schedule I'd most likely just watch the replay instead of going watch the whole race I'd recorded. Putting it behind yet another subscription service that I have no interest in other than F1 hasn't really helped to reel in my attention. Maybe I'll get to a point where I can't do without but I doubt it, for now I'll stick with the highlight videos and watch whatever races they plan to air free this year, if they still plan to do so.

ETA: I really hope they publicly share the viewership numbers, I highly doubt they got close to 1.1 million for Australia.

I would highly consider getting Lightning Lane passes.

If we go that would be the plan so that we could maximize time on the single day.

3 and under free.

I believe its 2 and under are free, I was looking at single-day tickets yesterday and that's what it showed.

We have a trip planned to south Florida over the summer, instead of flying we are considering driving, with a stop in Orlando to do a single day at Magic Kingdom. Single day tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids(3 & 5) comes to $815.00. Factor in a couple hotels along the way and we figure we can do the drive + Magic Kingdom day for ~$1500, versus flying costing ~$800-$1000 and then having to rent a vehicle for a week.

We're highly considering doing it. We figure one day at MK will be enough to scratch the itch while they're little and maybe consider a longer trip when they're a little older. Our kids handle roadtrips well, we'd be splitting the drive up into 2 days, and I hate the process of flying.

That is unless you saved for years!

I'd bet the overwhelming majority of Disney trips is on credit cards that'll take years to pay off.

We'd love to bring our kids but refuse to drop that kind of $$ on it. We are going to the Keys this summer and considered driving, stopping in Orlando and doing just one day at Magic Kingdom and it would still be ~$1000 for just that one day.
I'll listen to one of these occasionally, usually I'll throw it on in the background at the office and listen in, this dude definitely post here. ~$450k of debt, about half of which is mortgage, boat, SxS, 401k loans, 108 month term loan on his trucks, spends a ton of sports betting, upside down on everything, etc.
He probably post here. Love the Coach O clip inserts. Just tossed in a Kelly one too.

Every so often I get concerned that we're in a financial pickle and I watch one of these podcast and realize that I'm rich compared to some of these idiots.

One word- Honda

Honda shut down their power unit program, the employees for that program went to work for Red Bull. Honda then signed with AM and hired a bunch of inexperienced engineers and mechanics to build this power unit.

The whole situation is wild to me, that a team could miss so badly in 2026, this feels like something straight out of the 80s.

Honda has been more wishy-washy than Alpine the last 5 years or so regarding F1, there was a ton of hope surrounding this partnership and I don't think anyone quite expected such a faceplant.

I said I would resist buying yet another subscription but I’m having a bad case of fomo right now missing out on the shite show.
