Did something happen with Sorsby that none of us know about? Pretty vague here.
I see what you’re doing here…. I think you’ve started quite the stir. I think you will succeed in your efforts

Depends on what your needs/wants are and the terrain your in. Short pack outs and flat terrain or a longer hike and hills and such.
Those Mystery Ranch pop-ups are pretty slick. They have two sizes and “load-lifters” extend when you need to use a meat shelf. I’d think it fits your needs pretty well for deer sized game.
If you want something with the potential for western hunting pack outs the EXO MTN Gear stuff is awesome. I have the 4800 for pack-in type hunts. They have an 1800 size bag for day hunts. Super comfortable and lightweight for hauling around the mountains. They do a great job of taking the weight off of your back/ shoulders and transferring it into your hips.

I have a scythe and was very impressed how it knocked down the recoil on my -06. Would imagine the omega gets similar results.
It’s my back country rifle, the the weight was my primary factor.

Yea as mentioned get the LSU sports app. There is a set of headphones in the upper right corner of the homepage. Tap that and it will give you the option of whatever event is in at the moment.

But to help with your selection…
As others have said. Shoot the triax. If it is comfortable and you shoot it well, I’d go with that. It was a flag ship bow, and still a top of the line option.
With the lower brace height, it will be less forgiving. But if you shoot it well, and you can save some money…. Winner winner

re: Anyone use Mathews Triax or Mathews Mission Switch bows?

Just for clarity, you do NOT need a press to change the CC2 mods on the Triax.
It’s just two Allen head screws to change the mods. No press needed. It is very simple.

I thought the same. Watched every pass pro down, and didn’t think it was as bad as everyone is saying. Some really bad plays… yes, but the criticism seems overblown. It wasn’t bade enough to have an article about him specifically on the front page of espn.

re: WWL’s Don Dubuc announces retirement.

Many memories of the ride out toward the boat or duck lease or deer lease with my dad having Don on the radio. He was ingrained in my outdoor experience. Sad to see him go, but well deserved.

The fact that this guy was the only reporter to attend the trial is both shocking and expected with the current state of media.

Saying that Lafayette could have been a global manufacturing powerhouse like Houston is today is a big statement. Where did the state screw up?
