Shooting can and will improve.
A healthy J Smith and Davis can help with perimeter D b/c they might feel more aggressive knowing who is behind them to help out inside.
Hope Jason's eye is ok. He's such a great guy and always plays his arse off.

Well, it's been fun ( I think). Maybe... interesting?? Ha! Guess I gotta thank wope?????
When time allows might try to come hang out more and we'll talk some NOH stuff.
Have a great weekend; gotta call it a night since work calls tomorrow and Sunday.
Enjoy the game Sunday in Denver and here's hoping the boys can can end the skid. In the meantime, enjoy a busy FB weekend!

"We could easily be 8-3 instead of 3-8 right now with a healthy Gordon."
Just think if you have (a) a healthy Gordon, (b) a healthy Davis, (c) Anderson shooting like he did tonight and has done, and (d) aggressiveness from J Smith + Greivis working on controlling tempo... who are you gonna guard?
Sag on Davis? Ok, we'll shoot from the outside?
Overplay the shooters? Ok, we'll backdoor cut you OR lob inside to Davis.
It could be quite a match up problem for a lot of people.

Well not my place to name, but can tell you from working and traveling in biz... there are people from all media - TV, radio, paper.
I know b/c they would say 'hey did you see someone said _______." and when you ask 'where'd you see that' they'd answer here.
And like I said before... it's not just NOH (I know ppl who work and used to work for the organization look here as well)... but media for Saints and particularly LSU.
Sometimes that's how I would find out, b/c I'd get asked if I saw or read something, they'd tell me it was on here, and so I'd log on to look and see what they were asking me about.

He also had that game against Utah (I think) late in the season when he scored something like 10 straight in the 4th quarter to help get the win.
Well that's nice! Appreciate it

Awkward to watch? You should've been standing there! HA!
I felt like I got Yippi-ki-Yayed on air!! (but of course didn't want to go down that road b/c when Nets crew did that with him a few years ago he finished the phrase on air!)

Monty is fantastic. He can REALLY coach them up. He deserved that extension and when he can get Davis back and healthy, Gordon (finally) on the floor, and have a full arsenal, watch out.
His 1st season took Lakers to 6 (and yes I know who was on that roster and that certainly helped, but they had to play under him too)... and last year, despite the troubles, took San Antonio to the wire 4 times (best record in NBA), lost to LAL in LA by single digits, beat the Clippers and Celtics, crushed Orlando with Dwight, and gave Knicks 1st loss of the Lin-sanity craze.

tehchampion, if/when you get the chance, go watch EG shoot from behind him and watch the rotation. I'm telling you it comes off of his hand so pure and the rotation is incredible. I agree with you he has a hitch, but it usually doesn't affect the shot. When he squares up, it is as good as it gets.
Unfortunately the home crowd hasn't been able to see enough of it.
Do you remember end of last season vs. San An and he poured in 30+ and 15 in one quarter?

Two games later interviewed John Malkovich - who was also in that same movie - and he could not have been nicer!!

SaintsFan, that's easy. Bruce Willis 2 years ago during Lakers game. I asked about his movie he was making in NOLA, and he barely answered. Tried to change topic to go to game, and he started talking college hoops and bracket busters (game was in March). So I tried to go down that road too... eventually I tried to ask him about NOLA and music in the city and referenced he played music... yeah, just didn't go well at all.
Later, I heard he did one with the Lakers b'cast that was even stranger... but theirs didn't get posted. Our interview was all over the place in 5 minutes! It was strange.
(movie he was making was Red)
Months later (after we all thought he had been drinking) we were told he had had a surgical procedure that day, and the medication + the drink or two he had at the game had him all loopy.

Fear, you'd be surprised who "looks in" on your corner. And other NOH corners out there too.

That's usually what I say too reading some of the humor and meltdowns on here. Unfortunately, I decided to actually try to converse and got caught in this s&%^#-storm.
That's what I get for trying.
That's what I get for trying.
But I guess trying to actually have a real, actual conversation with you is pointless.
So have your fun and rip away. Nice pic design too. Work all day on that??

But while we're at it, I'll be happy to address your comments... following the fact that I already admitted I was not/am not a regular poster... but figured I'd at least respond to inaccuracies...
* I actually like the anti-FSNO talk from the CST employees - it's entertaining, hence my original post. Keep it up, makes you look very professional! CST might lose it's 7 viewers. - - who was anti-FSNO talking? I think they've put together a nice on-air presentation so far as a network. Too bad they don't have shows based in NO but instead in Dallas - but that's just FSN being FSN. Not bad mouthing - that's fact. But I know people working there, support them, and we actually do stuff to support on-air products.
* While we're at it, lets talk about how critical you guys are of the team now that you don't carry them. All of a sudden Gordon's a bad guy now, yet CST was full time Gordon sunshine-pumpin' when you guys covered the team. - - what you think is critical is also factual. I'm a HUGE Gordon fan - on record on the air more times than I can count saying he has the PUREST jump shot in the NBA, bar none. His shot is textbook. But right now you know what his shot is??? Not being taken! He's not a bad guy... he's just not playing. They NEED him.
We (Hornets b'cast) supported him b/c we were the NOH broadcast, and that's what you do when you are the team's b'cast. In the studio I was critical of his absence last year and have the same criticism this year. $58m for 9 games played? Really??
Monty deserves better and I hope he gets healthy soon and can contribute.

Wope, read what Rondo said.
Want a conversation? Let's talk Hornets and whatever and have fun. Want to be a tool? Go back in your basement. Or I'll disappear and that's fine, and you can make yourself feel good rippin' on me. If that what it takes for you to have fun... enjoy.

Follow closely?? Guess ya gotta define closely.
On here every day? No. Don't have time. View on occasion? Yes. Some of the best times are LSU games and immediate reactions to see the meltdowns that take place - some are hilarious!!
When I was doing games regularly I enjoyed browsing here and NOH boards to get a feel for what fans were thinking of team and coaching and how they were interacting.

Nah I enjoy reading a lot of posts on a lot of things. Lots of humor, often times good insight, some laugh out loud things... some ridiculous stuff too.
But figured if someone wanted to quote me incorrectly... then I at least had the chance to clarify.

Could not agree more.
How's it hangin' Wope? Just thought I'd say thanks for following and reading along! Just to help you along since you seem to have such a strong - and incorrect - analysis...
* 1st tweet was an honest thought. Has nothing to do with being "hurt" b-wipe... I mean... wope. Was just remembering that last season tipped off less than 12 months ago on that floor when EG made his debut - and NOH won with :04 left on his jumper and subsequent D on the inbounds play. Tonight... :05 to go, tie game, NOH playing D on same end of floor... could've been a good time to "remind" people of some NOH history that was frighteningly similar. Oh, and remind people what and who is sitting on the sidelines collecting $$$$. Don't you think that would've been a nice touch? Wasn't a criticism; it was a thought.
* 2nd tweet was my analysis after watching end of game (and part 2 of 2). After all they were up huge in the 3rd quarter.
* last part of that message - if you didn't know - but I'm sure you did since you're SO confident in yourself - the post game show IS done in Dallas... for your NO Hornets. I actually know Howard - played ball against him for years back in the day.
* 3rd tweet was actually in response to a friend's tweet to me about the night out, which you would have no knowledge of.
So there ya go. Just thought I'd clarify for you since your acute analysis was... ummm... well... errr.....
But hey, like I said, thanks for following! Feel free to message me directly and I'll be happy to chat with ya. If you don't like it... then unfollow.
FACTS - NOH is young, no where near full strength, and as I put in a previous tweet that you were so good/accurate NOT to quote - is playing its collective arse off as usual for Monty. He's just that good of a coach. And hopefully it'll payoff down the road.
Now I'm going back to doing what I was doing... and you can get back to... whatever it is you do that makes you feel proud of yourself. And if that means posting inaccuracies... have at it!

A Few Things to BEElieve In
Posted by EyeonLSU on 11/6/10 at 10:13 pm
(1) This team is gonna bring it night in and night out. Monty Wiliams has brought a new intnesity andfocus.
(2) Their Bee-fense is stingy to downright nasty. 6 opponents, and 6 teams held under 100. Just ask Miami and San Antonio how frustrating they got.
(3) CP3 is NASTY. Enough said.
(4) National media will be taking more notice this week. A win Tueaday over the Clippers (big market team with Blake G) would make them 7-0 headed into a game against Monty's former team.
(5) Get on board while you can if you want to see hard nosed, in your face, you'll-have-to-earn-it-if-you-want-to-beat-us basketball.
CONGRATS MONTY ON 6-0 START!!

Don't remember hearing that, but then again the team hasn't been home in a week... and lately, the only noise coming after a Marco 3-pt hoop is the silence of the other team's crowd! :) HA!
Sorry it bothers you, but just FYI... it is correct.
The Hornets will tell you it's pronounced like Belly-nelly... b/c that's how Marco himself said it's pronounced. Maybe he doesn't have to overemphasize it if that's what he's doing... but the way he's saying it is correct.

Reggie Out vs. Raiders & Thomas Not There

As per Sean Payton, Reggie not going to play today. Should see some action Thursday vs. Miami. Payton says Bush has had a good camp. Also, Pierre Thomas did not make trip at all.
See Payton's interview on CST's pre game show starting at 2:30 on Cox Sports.
Enjoy the game!
