The new rankings confirm that college baseball is a regional sport. 19 of 25 from SEC/ACC and a couple Sun Belt teams.

Endowment is the right word. Donors give money specifically to fund the program's current and future needs.

I have a question for the baseball fans on the board. Do LSU and other programs have dedicated baseball program endowments?. UNC baseball has started an endowment and just received a generous $9 million gift towards such. Just wondering, figured this was an appropriate place to post this question.

Our boards have been going insane the last several days. Belichick has negotiated huge investments in the football program which had held up UNC from being a strong program before. Investment went up with Mack but I’m hearing Bill negotiated a $20 million NIL pool and some crazy staffing guarantees. Huge day for UNC fans.

Our UNC site reporters have said naming his son as head coach in waiting is unlikely, but the longer this drags out I guess it could happen.
