Yeah game day coaching decisions in baseball are not nearly as important as football where strategy can win or lose the game. Other than recruiting and changing the lineup what can a baseball coach do to affect the game?. It’s just the players didn’t get it done. Not the coaches fault.

Never understood how he got to be employed by lsu. I read he would vet coaches and he was the one who recommended Matt Canada to Ed. What did Ed see in that clown to make him his special assistant to head coach?

I never thought of it that way. That fat arse got rid of Maineri and Ed who both won championships and Will Wade who is the best basketball coach we had in a while. He gets credit for Jay but spending a fortune for Kelly was a disastrous decision.
