Im struggling to see how you build a good defense with Queen. He’s too slow to guard 4s and too small to protect the rim as a 5. Center is the most important position on defense. You need to find a unicorn rim protecting, 3pt shooting center which literally every single team in the league is also looking for.

That’s the funniest thing to me. Joe had to have seen the media headlines clowning us for hiring him and then he goes and immediately proves them all right by making one of the worst trades in history. He needs to be traded at the deadline while he still has value. He’s become very injury prone and his shot has not bounced back. That extension will start to look bad very soon

Griffin was like a slow bleed of bad decisions mixed with some good decisions.
Dumars is like getting shot in the artery of bad decisions. This team is bleeding out quick, fast , and in a hurry.
Queen looking good doesn’t make that trade any better. If you liked him that much then pick him at 7. I like Fears but not more than Dybantsa, Boozer or Peterson in this draft.

Absolutely not taking a RB in the top 10.
Between AK, estime, Miller, and Neal we should be able to put together a decent run game if healthy. Our problem was that we had all of our RBs hurt

Give Borrego a team with more shooters and less retards and we’re in the playoffs. This guy has us going shot for shot against a top 5 team in the league with a certified retard in Poole playing crunch time minutes. And I don’t blame Borrego for playing him because he was hot and has literally no other options to turn to

Part of the problem is that we don’t even take them. We’ve been near the bottom of the league the last 4 years in 3PA.
like Fears needs to let it fly from 3. He’s very promising but you aren’t getting anywhere in this league as a small guard only taking 3 3PAs per game. He needs to be taking 7-8. All the best small guards take high volumes of 3s

He needs to ramp up DJ slowly and play the best players when healthy. Can’t risk DJ getting injured again and you can’t give preference to players because of who they are.

The biggest thing we have going for us is that we have no incentive to tank while some of the teams above use like Utah, Dallas, and Portland all have incentive to tank.

Willie never made other teams adjust to us. Teams always knew what lineups we would roll out. Borrego rolling with the hot hands threw them off. Him doubling KD and forcing Amen to make plays was genius. Amen made a couple shots but also missed a bunch and turned the ball over.
We know Gayle isn’t going to go spend a ton of money on a coach. Borrego is probably the best coach in our price range. He’s an actual X’s and O’s coach instead of a vibes coach like Willie

That’s why I think we need to cut him now. He can’t play 41 games if you just cut him now. People need to drop the delusion that some team is going to trade for him. Everyone knows he’s done here and we could use the cap space. Any team that would be interested would just wait till we eventually cut him in the offseason to pick him up
