Tuscaloosa Alabama in the house!!!!!!!!!!
Slammed my fist down on the table at "The Chimes" is shock. Then hugged 30 people that i didn't know!
Tulane was the only "real" rival. If you are 45 years old or more you remember the importance of that. Most Tulane alums are from privilaged families and look down on middle class LSU. This kind of attitude stirs up hard feelings. I remember big ceremony before and after the game. Many goofy bets between friends and family. I can also remember benches clearing and all out brawls on the field at the end of several games. Tulane has not been able to compete in recent history so the game has no importance in todays world.

Ole Miss is a top tier rival from the glory days of the late 50's and early 60's but if they are not careful they can become another Tulane as well. Similar kind of privilaged family snobbish attitude as well. This is why Miss State (middle class families)and hates them so

The SEC is trying to make Arkansas our main rival but there is simply no bad blood. This series has been very competitive and both have ruined the other's season but this still remains just another conference game.
Several Miss State games that were the 11:00 am JP sports game. 2004, 2006 etc Hot as hell in early September

Awesome win Dawgs!
That's right... finebaum is a planned show that caters to the BAMA nation. All an act to get calls rolling in. Chris just said things to pke the hornets nest. Wait until Saban leaves BAMA for Penn State in a couple of years. He has said that was his dream job.....
AR - Kansas. Period. go to hell auburn
The old days are 2003? Are you kidding me?
Yes. They are all very respectful of LSU football and do not expect to win. Basketball is their game! Very humble football fans
Does Bamer really have 13 NCs? Do they really deserve to fly 13 NC flags on Saturday's?
I agree. Chris makes a difference and Iyell with him when I am there.

I can and I do. He is a GREAT guy. Living in Alabama , I see LSU away games over this way. He has made the difference in Starkville, Tuscaloosa, and Auburn. I witnessed him turn the Saturday Arkansas game from a 5-1 loss in the 7th to a come from behind victory. The players gave total credit to the fans for the win. Chris got us going

I was there. He has an unspoken concussion. It was high risk for him to make a bad decision on top of the ankle situation

Rammer Jammer Yeller Hammer Go To Hell Ala Bammer!
I live in Tuscaloosa and wear my purple and gold every day... even Sunday at church. Locals appreciate my loyalty and most say LSU is their 2nd favorite team. Even with Sabanmania they are still nice to me

Lose to Va Tech and the flood gates open. You will run Saban out on a rail. Good luck with this season as with attitudes like this you will need it
1999. I was there with my Miss State alum wife and in-laws. Lost in the last seconds of the game by a questionable TD. I thought the RB knee was down on the 1 with no time left.
