Online learning apps
Posted by Bamajedi on 1/10/26 at 8:07 am
Ditching social media and other time wasting this year. I want to learn some interesting stuff, but want a more entertaining and creative way of learning (dont love reading books). I got a sub to Coursera for some AI and medical education, but does anyone recommend apps for online learning? I've seen ads for animated history and stuff like that but don't remember what they were.
re: Toyota Landcruiser?
Posted by Bamajedi on 1/10/26 at 8:02 am to Walkerdog14
The deal killer with the landcruiser/GX twins is the fuel range per tank. Many reports of 200ish miles per tank. frick that, I ain't trying to live with Apu at the gas station.
My bone still works pretty good but I got some 5mg Cialis pills. I have trouble sleeping at night since this kick stand won't retreat. That stuff is powerful
Tell her you recently retired from winning super Bowls with an NFL team?
So how many Somali daycares can you fit in an old Hampton Inn?

Honest question for those that do, but why do some guys wear a gold necklace? This seems very feminine and I can't see the appeal for wearing something around my neck. I know it's mandatory for baseball guys, but what's your reason?
re: Game used footballs

Not sure about LSU, but I have been buying the used gameballs from Texas high school football for a while. They are basically unused leftovers at about 30 percent of the cost of new from Amazon. The only drawback is the colored laces or insignia of the high school team printed on the ball. It's the cheapest way to buy nice leather footballs for my son to practice kicking.

Just don't care anymore. 12 team playoff is ghey and both teams made up of whiny undeserved millionaires who are vastly inferior to the real professionals. BCS was best; give us the two best teams and be done with it

The drunker i get, the better i play. Or maybe i just don't care anymore. John Daly definitely cracked the code to great golfing outings
Plot twist: Ole Miss 2025 National Champs
Posted by Bamajedi on 12/1/25 at 6:39 pm
I'm afraid my Bama boys just don't have it this year so I'm going to throw some Hope at Ole Miss. Would make great drama for them to run the gauntlet and bring home the trophy this year after this shite show circus they've been through.
If I were Johnny Reb, I'd take a page out of the USC playback and dump Kitten off at the airport with a box of his office shite

Perfect comparison! What is the upside? I'm guessing cheaper, but I would think many things would be more expensive on an island nation. What do the locals do during hurricanes? Do they loot the local Barnes and Nobles like the N.O. residents?
re: Idaho Bar offering free beer for a month to anyone who reports illegal immigrants

I checked out their website and I'm most impressed. They are true patriots and even have a MAGA themed cocktail menu. Time to order the shirt and hopefully visit one day
I have told both of my teenage boys to always take a woman to the pool for the first date. This won't filter out the botox/filler crowd, but you'll find out if they're completely boosted by makeup art and they can see that body in plain view.
re: The SEC lost a basketball icon tonight

The Tad looks so small! I always find it sad when these arenas and stadiums get replaced. It's a sign of getting older, but I like to think about all of the legends that made our memories through the years. All that being said, I couldn't wait to get the frick out of Legion field years ago. Hated that damn place and have no idea why it is still standing other than the cost of demolition must be too much
re: ESPN College GameDay had its lowest ratings of the season
Posted by Bamajedi on 11/6/25 at 4:53 am to AUTiger789
The majority of Gameday viewers are college football fanatics so probably not the best measure of attrition. I think the big drop will be in their regular daily programming which folks aren't going to spring $20 a month to watch.

I'm as Bama as they get but SC +13 is easy money. We will be lucky to pull out a win
Have you looked into radiation therapy? We have seen some good success and it is a very easy procedure
re: Muffled hearing and tinnitus from gunshot
Posted by Bamajedi on 10/12/25 at 10:19 pm to sledgehammer
I had a 12 gauge discharge inches from my right ear when I was about 15. 35 years later, the tinnitus in my right ear is still deafening. It absolutely sucks so bad to never be in silence. I have learned to live with it, but I see why it can be a cause for suicid3 with many
re: Shoulder replacement- How bad is this going to be
Posted by Bamajedi on 10/9/25 at 6:23 am to Purple Spoon
Have you tried radiation therapy for your shoulder? It may be too far gone, but we are having great results treating osteoarthritis. It may be worth a shot to help with the pain. It sounds like it may be too little too late, but it might be worth a try.
