Seems staff has addressed the needs. Now we just have to hope we can develop these guys or even better maybe some of these guys coming already have that attitude we have been lacking like Landon Dickerson did to our OL.
Any word on the Center from Cal Poly?
He’s a good QB. Dealt with injury and obviously very smart QB. The problem to me is with the portal and NiL do you keep a guy with younger but higher potential begging a player for 1 more year or do you go with the younger player who can give you two more years. Kind of a tough decision.

Now watch him have a big impact at ND this season. Would be our luck.

I mean I’m sure he’s going to be instrumental against the military schools.

ordan Renaud to the portal

They’ve been hinting at this for a while in radio. This has nothing to do with the transfers brought in. This staff rotates a lot of players and in this era of CFB it’s an absolute necessity.
I don’t doubt him as a coach he is just a shitty human being and it has nothing to do with Ole Miss. that debacle is just a side effect of him being a narcissistic prick.
How long has he been in CFB. Is he looking for a 6th year or 7th year? If so frick him. Go to the draft or find a job.

wonder if Nick Brooks hitting the portal means Texas things they're getting Seaton

No idea but with the cash Texas is dumping if they go 9-3 again and miss playoffs I have a feeling Sarkesian is going to start getting uncomfortable. Bringing in highly ranked players for hire looks great but if they don’t gel as a team and it’s all about the cash, you can look like a really shitty coach who can’t win with NFL players.

Make me find another hobby

What are you a fricking middle schooler? How about I put it this way, try not to be a bitch all the time because your bleeding vagina is clotting up the board.
It will be because of money. Texas damn sure isn’t doing it based on a prestigious recent history of national championships.
Or maybe the kid can play and fits our schemes. Look if some of you want to be miserable all the time then maybe yall should find another hobby. I can’t imagine following something if it makes me miserable all the time.
Actually him staying would help I think. I’m sure it’s just talk but someone mentioned in radio possibly moving Hubbard to one of the inside backer positions. If he can add ten pounds or so and keep his speed that would be a good move to me. He certainly has that LB mentality to him.

re: Are we really that broke?

Broke no but Alabama does not have Texas money or Michigan or Ohio state money. I think this staff with Alabamas NIL limitations are going to have to find players from smaller schools who were overlooked and coach them up. I have no inside knowledge on finances or the program itself but this seems to be the logical conclusion. Alabama is not going to overpay so us fans can’t thump our chest about portal rankings. If BeBoer strikes out this offseason and Alabama finishes 8-4 or worse then we can begin discussions about moving on but until that happens this is all just conjecture.
Oh I agree he is a phenomenal coach. I’m just talking about the nature of what a coach is and teaches. We saw a dip with Saban here as well after about ten years at Alabama. It’s not necessarily about the wins and losses as it is with in which the players play and buy into the message.

Skip Bertman

So very in his way and may be passed by Jay Johnson who is doing what Bertman did but under in my opinion more difficult circumstances. You can’t just get hot and win it. In my opinion the baseball national championship is the most difficult to obtain and also the truest form of a national championship that any college sport offers in its current format.

Kirby

Don’t know about this one. I think his message has gotten stale at Georgia. They aren’t producing like you’d expect. This is also a natural occurrence after about ten years at a school.

We were actually pretty evenly matched vs. Indiana. We just got unlucky with a couple of turnovers, and our QB broke his ribs. shite happens.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
People are watching the games but what we are calling parity is not true parity. Parity is every team more or less is equal in opportunity to win it. All we are seeing is the teams willing to or able to spend the most money in the transfer portal are going to win. We just shifted the lure of brand, prestige, history and coaching to the biggest payroll. That’s all this has done.
DeBoer has to fix the run game. We don’t have the RBs to do so right now and we don’t have the OL. We will see what happens but if he flips to Texas we will see more of the same putting the game squarely on either Austin or Keelins shoulders. That won’t be good.
Until we see two players on the same team fighting up by a big score in this game 2012 Alabama greater than 2025 Indiana.
