Not to mention we have 2 new coaches in the 2 money sports. No one has any clue where SP and Golesh will be in 5 years. Probably best to let it play out a little bit

This team reminds me of the 2022-2023 team in that regard. Seems like we can never get the key stop + rebound or make the key shot to really grab the momentum in a game. We make runs but they stop short of really changing the game.

Perplexed as to everyone's obsession with this.. Magwood was barely getting any playing time and was eventually removed from the rotation due to horrendous defense and pg play. The following week he called the head coach of the team a "bitch" on Instagram.
Shouldn't shock anyone that he's still riding the bench.
I understand some people are just curious and didn't hear about the social media bit but once you hear it there's really nothing else to discuss here.

Denver as PG. Pettiford's defense is abysmal and he is not a pg.
We shot 28 treys at 32%. Probably 2-3 ill advised ones for sure but nothing too extravagant.
I have a hard time watching this team because of the pg play and defensive limitations but they really aren't a bad team at all and will be in the NCAAT a year after losing almost everyone.
I've been consistent on this, but how this team does or doesn't fare will not write SP's story. That said, I think SP is doing a pretty good job with this group.

Our defense is weak against the better offenses, that's for sure. We are not an elite unit.
Thought we executed SP's game plan perfectly against Bama and they scored 96 points. Ran them off the 3 point line and for the most part forced somewhat tough 2's. If we had a rim protector the somewhat tough 2's get thrown in to the second row or they don't even get attempted and they settle for worse 3's.

If that's your standard then my point still stands. A Denver Jones or a rim protector from being solid. 69th in Adj. Efficiency isn't terrible

If the standard is being final 4 good then sure. I think it's a rim protector or a Denver Jones from being the best team in the league though.

If my son goofed up and got rightfully benched for it I'd sure as heck tell him to do the same thing. Cheer on your teammates, listen to the coaches, serve your time, try again next year.

Idk man. I really like the way this team has responded but dropping those 2 to A&M and Georgia just really took away our margin for error. Not like we have really been running away with any of the SEC wins, they are all tough.

Used to have to be enrolled in the school but could join mid-season as long as you beat the university enrollment cut-off date. Not sure if that's still the case or not, seems like Bediako would have been late but maybe he enrolled a couple weeks ago which would have been close to on time

I tend to agree. But we need to punch them in the mouth right out of the half or the game pressure starts to get heavy.

Yeah our defense hasn't been terrible imo. A couple too many rhythm jumpers we've allowed but scoring is looking tough right now.
