A war footing is not a declaration of war.

Well, we didn't declare it anyway.

That also took well less than a decade.

We knew from the beginning this would not be possible with an air campaign alone. That’s never been done, and it definitely isn’t possible with a country the size of Iran and with their terrain.
See you at the recruiting office then I hope.

I know the dust still has to settle but it seems like we basically have the same result without the huge loss of life and pissing off the population.
The part that took a decade to do in Iraq hasn't even been started brother. Let's hope it doesn't.

Finished because he went around Congressional authority and stretched a 45 year old law too far? I'm pretty sure the country is tougher than that.

No....this is about fulfilling our ultimate purpose in life, which is to glorify God in all that we do. He should be front and center of everything we think and every action we take.
With that in mind, it is important to separate the wheat from the chaff and not let the chaff control what happens.
Nothing else matters.
I'm not a religious person, but I want to genuinely understand what you're saying. What does glorifying God look like in your opinion? I have to assume it's more than simply praising his name. He's an omnipotent being, presumably he's beyond ego. And why is that our ultimate purpose?

move those goalposts. There are investigations happening now. Yet the files were released. Your excuse is dumb. Don’t be a useful idiot. You only care now because OMB. Pathetic.
I didn't move the goalposts. The guy I replied to did. Everyone on both sides of the aisle seemed fine with waiting for their release until the DoJ declared that there was nothing in the files. Half this board wanted to see the files until the president said they were fake news.

Epstein and Maxwell were convicted and sentenced in 2019 and 2022. Nice try. You know why you care now but didn’t then. Just like all the other useful idiots.
So if there was no case left to prosecute, why didn't the DoJ release the files day 1? They were on Bondi's desk ready to go according to her. Weird.
re: Jamie Raskin asked why Dems didn’t show interest in Epstein when they controlled the DOJ
Posted by GoblinGuide on 2/15/26 at 12:34 pm to L.A.
Probably because they knew it was an ongoing case in the DoJ and were content to let it play out. As were Republicans until Kash and Bondi and co claimed it was all fake news after saying they had the files.
