Mac did a good job at Florida, especially in recruiting. Those players that Mullen did well with were all McElwain players.

No matter how bad Auburn is right now in football they still have the ability to take good teams to the brink of a loss ( Bama last year). Don’t ever count them out.

It’s not that Bama didn’t want him it was that he took the UGA offer before the press conference to introduce Deboer. Deboer hadn’t even had time to get his staff aligned.

FSU does not have a better resume. Their SOS is #55. Alabamas is #5. What do you not understand. Play in a better league or a stronger schedule.

Texas and OU gonna find out about being in the SEC on a week to week basis next year. Not playing one SEC game a year but 9 games week after week.

What I was suggesting was playing and SEC schedule week in and week out, not just playing a single SEC opponent. It wears on a team. I bet Texas looses at least 2 SEC games their first year in the conference.

I’ll be so glad when Texas and OU get in the SEC and have to play SEC teams weekly. This ain’t gonna be the cakewalk they’ve been getting in the little 2.

I think if you look at the replay of the hit 15 for Bama turned as they were falling to the ground and didn’t land with his full force and drive the QBs head into the ground. That’s why the he targeting was not called.

Got to hand it to Drew Hughes the Director of Player Personnel at Tennessee who was formerly at Florida and helped build that roster into what it is today. With the coaches he is putting together a damn good class.

Hughes would have stayed at Florida had he not got the call from Pruitt. Mullen wanted him to stay and so did Scott Stricklin. Hughes had prior relationships with more coaches on the staff at Tennessee. Also he did not leave Florida to go to Tennessee and make less money. He is making more at Tennessee......fact.
