Back in 2013, I followed Rece on Twitter and he followed me back. I was surprised he was familiar with my gifs (proving he privately surfs/surfed message boards/cfb websites). Over the years, we've exchanged DMs/compliments (reaction to cfb gifs, Final Verdict, LSU recruiting wins, his College Gameday promotion, holiday best wishes, etc) .
He always complimented LSU and even gave a "Long Live the Hat". He couldn't have been a nicer guy. I'm biased now, but his unprompted "Merry Xmas. I hope we cross paths one day" kind of sealed the deal for me to ignore the unjustified hate he usually gets on here for perceived LSU slights (particularly approaching the end of the Miles/CEO/Kelly regimes, only for the same bunch to later make far harsher comments at the very end of the Miles/CEO/Kelly regimes).

I'll add in Mikaylah. She played all 40 minutes today. That was an iron man performance on a day that desperately needed consistency. 26p, 15r, 4a, 1s
Tari Eason is a bonafide 3P shooter
Posted by LSUFreek on 3/1/26 at 7:51 am
Tari has a 3P% of 42.6%, which ranks 12th in the NBA, out of 450+ players.
I remember Tari would hit a couple of nice 3s during an LSU game, but I never thought of him as "a shooter", but more of a two-way/ all-around scorer/driver/post/rebounder/defender, who could occasionally pop out with a crucial 3.
I was recently watching some Rockets highlights (for some odd reason) and the dude was consistently on the perimeter corner waiting to catch & shoot...and deliver. So nice to see him doing well. Brings back good memories of '21-22 LSU MBB.

Even King Arthur couldn't pull me out.
I was 8 y/o in '77. I think I even had a similar striped-shoulder shirt the boy was wearing. I have fonder memories of the Sears catalogue more than captive/forced trips to Sears to watch my parents/grand-parents' boring appliance/clothing shopping. It didn't have as extensive a toy aisle like K-mart did.
Star Wars made '77 a memorable year for me, but I remember I also got sucker punched in the back of the head at school by a black kid, who had watched an episode of Roots the night before, apparently for what 8 y/o me had done "to his ancestors". So, frick Alex Haley & Tyrone.

Laughter in the Rain is such a melodic feel-good song.

While none of us no, take a guess; Does Fulwiley transfer or next season?
I just don't no. But if I had to pick, I'd say know.

LSU rebounded really well again, this time with 42 to the Vols 39.
It also shines a light back on the last Mizzou game when LSU grabbed an SEC record 72 rebounds. I don't think people have really digested how insane that was.

We have a guard last name is zipper but he hardly sees playing time. Your 2-13 play everyone.
72 rebounds with a small lineup is just insane.

If tweet fails to load, click here. She looks slightly taller than 5-7 Jada Richard. 5-8/5-9 ish.
GG is so fast, quick, has incredible handles and Fulwiley-ish passing. She can finish at the rim. I haven’t seen any 3 point shooting tho.

The Donna Summer song she is dancing to has some of the weirdest lyrics. I first heard the actor Richard Harris sing it, of all people, and it never made sense to me:
quote:
MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh no!
Does PETA not know the human animal are mammals as well?
I don't see them protesting when a black bear eats a fawn, or a lion eats a zebra, or a tiger eats a wild boar, or a polar bear a seal ...all of which have also opportunistically eaten a stupid human or two.

re: Ole Miss Women's basketball coach takes a few shots at Lane

Ironically, the coaching buzz is that Coach Yo will be the top HC candidate this offseason for some big time, but underachieving WBB programs. She's gonna be another one to bolt from that stepping stone school.
Gotta love it.
Gotta love it.
Kim said Ole Miss was getting "too many drives on my two freshmen" and too many "second chance shots" which made her go with her two bigs.
I love the versatility of this roster. This year, they've won with small ball, big lineups, mixed lineups, and even wholesale experienced-to-inexperienced rotations. Some nights the stars shine, some nights the backups are key, some nights it's a brand new mix of the two.
Outside of 4 close losses, there's too much talent for somebody not to step up to the plate, whether it's on offense or defense. Kim has found the right combo for 23 of the 27 games, and 9 of 11 road games, including this one.

Dunking-wise, Swift was like a cross between Vince Carter in a Shawn Kemp lanky body.

Beth Mowins, sounds like Reba McEntire doing a Bob Uecker impersonation.
I enjoyed the movie:

Ole Miss just defeated Tennessee tonight
The Vols are such frauds. On-paper, they have a lot of talent, enough that it convinced a lot of pre-season talking heads TN would be a Top 5-Top 10 team, with some talking a rise from the ashes of their former glory. Nope from the get-go. Janiyah Barker almost exemplifies the whole program. She looks the part of a Top 10 WNBA prospect, but only ever flashes potential and disappears when you need someone to take over in the clutch.

Jordan Culotta (Jordy’s son)
What ever happened to Jordy? Dude parted ways from the BR radio show (iirc, over a money issue), but he still had his low-budget ensemble podcast on you tube called the Jordy Culotta Show. I don't think I've seen him on his own JCS in over a year, the few times it's popped up on my feed. They have other dudes helming it. (???)
