How long are the shifts? Three 12 hour shifts are customary and considered full time by much of the medical community.

I was standing at the corner of St. Charles and Washington and they stopped the parade and made everyone get out of the intersection on the River side saying a float was coming off of the route. The police then changed their minds and waved the float forward. They let everyone else back into the intersection. I suppose they made everyone get off a little further up the route. We had no idea what was going on.
