I would be willing to bet that Nick Saban gets what he wants, when he wants it, how he wants it 99.9% of the time. When you are as successful as Saban is, you would be a fool to intervene unless it meant he was doing something against NCAA guidelines.

There is zero chance anyone is challenging Saban in Tuscaloosa. The day that happens he’s gone. If Saban wants Bo Davis then Davis will be the new DL coach.

He hasn’t revealed the name. He has been pretty spot on with information though. He usually drops hints like that but waits until the news leaks out

Is it a foregone conclusion that Golding is the new DC or is there still a chance we are after someone else? I wish we would make a run at Shoop. His defense at State this year was tough. They definitely gave us the most trouble.

There is no chance in Hell that Arkansas is beating Alabama. Period.
LSU is always a challenge as is Auburn.
I think people are forgetting how much we return overall. There is way to much over reaction to one game. We got handled but there are only 1-3 teams that can even match the talent we put on the field each Saturday. UGA, Clemson, Ohio state.

Kevin Steele has been really solid at Auburn. He struggled this past year some but he didn’t have the horses in the back end. He was not very good at LSU but has been great at AU. I trust Saban. It sounds like he’s going back to the people he trust and trust not to bail on him after one year. Maybe this is his last hurdle. He’s gearing up to make one more run. We’ve got all the pieces in place we just need some stability. We should be a better overall team next year than we were this year.

Why don't we offer Bob Shoop at MSST. He has been great for the Bulldogs this year. He is as aggressive as Venables and his defense was near the top in all statistical categories. Keep Tosh for Co-Defensive Coordinator. Golding needs to be gone. There was a considerable amount of decline this year. We have too much talent to be getting the linebacker play we got this year.

I agree that it does add some tension, but if Day wants to win the big game, he has to do what is best for his team. Now if Martell outplays him in scrimmages/practices that is when he would be at risk of losing his team. I do not believe that will happen. I see Fields starting for that team as soon as he is eligible. It was a head scratcher that he chose UGA from the start.

Fields will do great in that system. IMO, he is far superior to Martell.

This guy probably believes in voodoo medicine. He is probably in the camp that suggests sprinkling Essential Oils on Tua's ankle would have sped the healing process by 1000x and interventional medicine/surgery is a horrible thing for tissue repair and scarring.
