There are those on here who wanted to debate whether McKinnon is high-level SEC good….. ??????????

Thomas out and then our only other player with talent, Nwoko, goes on a milk carton versus Kentucky… That left absolutely nobody with a clue at this level. This Kentucky team is not a good one.
You mean the goofy guy with the mic and coke bottle glasses there for a few years didn’t get the tiny crowd fired up?
Which is the worst part of his coaching. Fine… Give him the year zero thing… That means three years of complete turnover and all rosters still a complete fail… Dudes roster management skills are zero and shoulda let him go last year
Minor college sport gets the minor piece of pie
Yes, old timers still think it’s a traveling which it used to be… The rule changed “recently“… But don’t recall when to make it more liberal
We haven’t been consistently relevant since early 90s …maybe mid 90s.... John Brady had flash in pan success and up-and-down records.
The only consistent success we’ve had in 30+ years is the 4-5 year WW run … PERIOD.
I don’t know what “people” you’re talking about… But after the Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones era I can promise you there was nobody outside of Dale Brown Circle complaining about WW lack of coaching acumen. Dude was a stud.
Dude was a menace even scheduling with NET at the heart of every team he scheduled…. Data driven… Most importantly got effing talent here and got them to play with passion. Revisionist history to say that Guy couldn’t coach.
I cut him loose the minute he has no chance to finish .500 in league …….
We had a length on ball, which is supposedly a good move… that’s the least of the mistakes on this play….. a dude caught a ball 19 feet from the basket and was able to turn with zero defenders in front of him…… You can’t make that up
Bracket the dude at the top of the key it’s shameful. You have to have somebody fronting and behind him … period… But you gotta protect the wings cause he could touch and pass ala Bryce Drew and Valpo!
Fronting the inbound guy is not a bad strategy except when that dude is 6 foot 10 himself…… Then it was wasted
Umm,,, it was the first four of the second half where the lead went from 18 to 9 at the 16 minute mark
“ Not bad“ for a bad team means he ain’t near good enough.. mid major, sir
THAT GUY is your A+ shot creator and taker when needed? Sheesh ….
Dude has way more shot attempts than anyone …… this team lacks talent big time

Ruined by peeping Tom George Eames ……. But more importantly I believe Dan Radikovich when early 90s (post Shaq but Livingston / Henderson era …. Decided to put the press row IN FRONT of the student section… which at the time was on the sideline in primo seating. …. So now you have an elevated section w 2-3 rows of press tables and the students moved further up and away from the floor….. HORRIBLE ……. Soon to be followed by piss poor play and end of Dale era … never the same since
We had a chance, but Dale synchophants choose JJ…

Men hasn’t had 13,000 consistently since post Shaq/CJ, maybe Livingston/henderson what, 30 years ago? Dale’s last few horrid years and since no chance…… a few 10,000 games to see Marcus Thornton , maybe a big game or 2 in the Big Baby, Tyrus era … a game to see Kentucky here or there or maybe a top Oklahoma team that came to town. It’s been dead for quite some time. WW brought some passion and increased crowds for sure, but packed house? Nah.
No one seems to care.
