What's the "something else"? If Walsh is no longer a political commentator for not being 100% sold on military intervention in a foreign country, what are you accusing him of being?
This is a question that still deserves an answer.

When it comes to public comments on matters of national security and geopolitics, what they say is intended to be obscure and even misleading.
Governments lie and obscure the truth is extremely insightful.
However, when you can sell something with the verifiable truth you should do it, and we clearly can in this case. Nobody believes that Iran was days away from a nuke and most who aren’t blue-haired freaks are still onboard with the ongoing military action. The fact that you feel the need to argue the other side of this is insane when there is no benefit to the lie.

Anyone expecting world leaders to give them accurate and up-to-date information about matters of war, national security, and geopolitics, has unrealistic expectations. Nobody does that; it's not the policy, ever, anywhere.
Nowhere did I say this was my expectation. I just said that the 22 seconds away from having a nuke bullshite has been untrue for 20+ years and almost certainly wasn’t the reason for this attack. I don’t really think we have to rely on bullshite tactics to sell this to the American people at this point. Iran pretty much stands in opposition to every liberal, democratic value held by Americans and has been at the center of conflict in the ME for decades.

Did I hear Hegseth say that Iran was “days away from developing a nuclear weapon?”
Not a lot of other similarities so far, but this is just like Iraq. And people react the same dumbass way when you notice, suggesting you don’t support the military operation. Most people are perfectly fine if they just say Iran had this coming for a long time and seeded conflict all across the ME. We don’t need this idiotic line that Bibi has been saying for at least 20 years to reconcile this.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Oopsie! Maybe we shouldn’t have been playing footsie with those BRICS guys.

I think once it shakes out and gets back to normal they could still sell oil to Chyna. But can use it as leverage to keep them in line
While this is true, if things go as we hope, Iran should start selling oil on the open market. That means they will not sell directly to China at a 10-15% discount, as they were doing due to sanctions. And, if things go right and the right people come to power, they should be agnostic or hostile to China due to China economically supporting the repressive former regime. As much as I want this to be about America being that shining city on a hill and doing the right thing, I think this is as much about Dollar dominance and hemming in China as it is Iran itself.
ETA: for the U.S. 100% different motive for Israel, though they also benefit from U.S. motives.

Which begs the question, how do we think China will respond to us essentially doing the same thing?
LOL at the morons downvoting this. You might think they are F*cked and can’t do anything, but it’s definitely something that must be considered. That’s a ton of energy they are losing and has massive direct negative impact on China’s economy and indirect positive impact on our own. And this destroys a major player in the BRICS system which is also no small thing. Major positive for continued dollar dominance.

Her first wish was definitely going from bartending to U.S. House Rep. Wonder if she still has the other two wishes or if there’s still a genie in the lamp in the background.

Yeah, the world needs fewer colleges that appeal to conservative trades students, have better male/female ratios and get kids thru their first two years at 1/3 (or less) of the cost of starting at a 4-year school.

I really believe that Trump's initial hesitation to release all of the Epstein files was because the corruption is so massive and pervasive that it could bring down major institutions and systems.
That whole tearing down institutions thing is what Trump ran on twice. The only institution he is protecting by speaking out against full disclosure is Israel. He will do everything he can to work for America and her citizens, as long as it doesn’t negatively impact Israel. If it didn’t work contrary to our interests so often it would almost be impressive how much they have him by the balls.

Yeah, because appreciation of an hourglass figure and curves of all kinds was never a thing before some black guys started rapping in the 80’s. It’s like you never saw a Playboy from the before times. Every woman in there didn’t have big tits.

I feel this conversation needs more nuance. Hips and arse. Dat arse is doing nothing on its own without some sexy curvy hips.

Social media makes young women feel like they are inadequate as well.
It’s interesting seeing the reaction to this statement. My son and I were talking about the body positivity trend the other day. I think the younger generation sees through it completely… or maybe my son is an anomaly. Even if they won’t say so publicly, I think people know that a segment of the population will talk up even the nastiest shite in the name of body positivity. Meanwhile, those girls still privately compare themselves to good looking girls and know they fall short. Not only do they know that, the smoke being blown up their arse removes the external motivation to try to rectify the situation.

It’s my understanding that he came to AU to get good coaching and improve, which he needs to do to have any chance of sticking in the NBA. You can’t come for those reasons then complain about being coached hard.

So is she and the person recording under arrest yet? Anyone know?
So let me enlighten you just how fricking stupid this woman is. This is a building that ICE is trying to buy to turn it into a detention facility in KC. The sale, of course, is attracting massive wailing and gnashing of teeth from local government and is all over the news. This idiot goes there while a news crew is filming a segment. The reporter caught it all on camera and was the one who called the police.
The craziest part is the woman supposedly stuck around for a while having some breakdown in the parking lot. Likely mourning the fact that she wasn’t able to burn down a steel and concrete structure with a bottle of lighter fluid. Of course, the inept KCPD didn’t respond in time to catch her and she is still at large, in spite of the very clear and identifiable video of her.

This is where I am but I gotta admit he really does seem different. His words and actions at state seem consistent and embrace America’s leadership role in a way that we haven’t seen in quite some time. And that leadership is needed when the west’s alternative is a bunch of self-flagellating, self-hating pussies from Europe.
