With links please.

Pascagoula, MS to L.A. USC game. 84' I think. Never forget it. They stuck all of us in the far corner and we were louder than the rest of that stadium all day. That Trojan horse never ran once.
All respect and everything there Chicken but what exactly is the big deal with this post being on the main board given all the other mindless drivel posts that are currently on? Your board and all. Just sayin.
A simple f'n NO and perhaps some info about where he did sign will suffice a-holes!

Simple answer to this bammer's post. F@&k you A-Hole!!!
I am hoping that a cleaning of the offensive house and some good hires will help us rebound next year, but I can't defend Miles after this saturday. I was a supporter of Miles but the bad decisions have become too many and too obvious. How about this guy Sarkisian from W? He looks like a quality guy.

Unfortunately for you jerk-off, when you are attacking an individual coach, you don't get to confine your analysis to just one fricking season. If you could judge a coach by a singular season(that means just one little guy), then I could talk about your "Great One" just as poorly when he couldn't manage his quarterbacks and lost to a nothing team like UAB or perhaps his very last season where the team was mightily inconsistent and little nicky finished it off with a mailed in shite job of coaching the Cap One Bowl game. So as soon as Nicky boy takes his business out of your cornhole, you need to pursue a career posting on the Bammer's board cause you are NOT an LSU fan.

HAIL THE REAL TIGERS!! FOREVER LSU!

IMO..... a "negatiger" is someone who is never positive no matter what happens. At best, they say nothing at all when things are good, and in fact, they are not tigers at all because they don't make the realization that all their bashing and bitching can do nothing but hurt our team. Can it help? No because no coaches give a shite what you think! Can it hurt? Damn skippy because if you think that kids (recruits) don't read at least some of this stuff, you are a fool!
That being said, I respect your right to say/type whatever the frick you want, but don't act like you have the team's improvement at heart as you are tearing them down!

Once again, a small section of idiots try to make their insignificance in this world hurt a little less by continuing to try and crucify this young man. Did you bother watching Lee's overall play? It was an EXCELLANT performance and he would have had another TD to his name if aubbie defender doesn't "inadvertently" trip RR on a perfectly thrown deep ball!
JJ may be a good mobile QB and I applaud his performance sat night and his overall improvement, but Lee's medium to deep range passes still put his to shame.
If you guys have to bash good kids out there giving their all for this team to amuse yourself, I have a solution for you. Attach one end of a hose to your exhaust pipe and the other to your face, crank it up and breath deeply!
Forget it byubengalboy, common sense goes out the window when you are talking to bone heads who think RS was not borne to man but traveled to earth on an asteroid from the planet Krypton.
By the way idiots, superboy also fumbles the ball about every third time he touches it. How bout some more turnovers? That would help us win games!
Ok
Ever occur to you that Barkley is on the field cause they have nobody else AND he just happens to have handled it very well under fire while our coaches have not had to throw RS in that situation so we don't know how he would respond. It could have nothing to do with how the coaches have gotten either of them ready, just different circumstances.
To try and put it a bit more simply, if JJ and JL sustained injuries and Miles was forced to play RS as a starter, he may perform as well or even better than Barkley. It's not a fair comparison.
Ah
Two questions posed were Blame for RS not being ready? And What say you rant?

Answer 1: cause he didn't graduate high school at age 16
Answer 2: You are an idiot!

2 simple answers for 2 stupid questions!

As for the Barkley comparison, if Carrol had anybody else halfway decent to start, Barkley would be on the sideline. First true frosh to start at USC in f'n how long?.....duh!
Man! I am friggin sick of hearing bone headed statements about how JL is the same guy he was last year. I hope that all of you idiots are judged as harshly in your personal lives as your judging him. The guy has seen and felt the fire and stood his ground, held his head up and continued to push himself toward improvement. This alone is reason enough to give him at least a shot. When JJ mouthed off before the Florida game and then proceeded to look like a scared little girl on the field with his single worst outing, he then compounded his shame by hiding behind the coaches. Still I'm not calling for him to be benched but he is obviously slipping into a bad spot and some time viewing the game from the sideline might help him grow beyond that.
Beyond all that, you haters need to give up your crying about last year. It's gone! Get over it. JL was put in a bad spot (the same spot we are putting JJ in if we don't give him some relief) and he weathered it and didn't quit and didn't hide. At least give the young man at little respect. He deserves at least that and he deserves a chance!
As per the usual on this board, extremists abound and what is needed is a level head. JJ is NOT done.....AND.....JL is Not some fricking loser who doesn't ever deserve a chance again. The best solution to our QB problem (I'm not addressing the OL so give it a rest) is to start JJ as usual but have JL come in for a couple series (especially early in the game) to give him a chance to show improvement AND to give JJ a chance to see what the D is doing from the sidelines to adjust himself. If you're just dying to see Shep, I'm fine with him playing a few downs, but he does seem to loose the handle on the football about every 3rd time he touches it (which may be why we haven't seen him lately)............all this humbly IMO.
Are you serious?!
Alabama's offense has been very good?!

5 red zone trips against Ole Piss = 5 FG = NOT that good!

Agree with all those calling for Lee to get some playing time.
As for all those posting useless reminders of how Lee threw a bunch of pic 6's last year, untill he throws a pic 6 THIS year........STFU!!!

re: Jarrett Lee Should Start

Posted by tygrman on 10/12/09 at 10:22 am to
Here's the bottom line for all you rantards, rahtards, positigers, negatigers and the just plain dumb:

Jefferson will NOT be the starting QB at LSU next season!!! Not saying he's not a good kid or a talented athlete, but he won't start. So! As for this season, we need to do something differently NOW! The season is not lost. Shep and CG are not the answer this year (sorry but 99% of true froshes get killed in the SEC). Enter the single most experienced QB on our team currently. Lee! Duh! I'm not saying that JJ shouldn't play or even that Lee should start, but you have to give the experienced guy a chance to play a couple of series anyway. JEEZ! See what he can do! I'll take a pic 6 over nothing at all!
Fowler, Corso and Des are straight up guys and most of the reason I watch the show. Herbby is the real douche. The other three are positive on LSU more often than not.
Corso shows great heart to come back so soon after a stroke. Awsome for him. Don't frick with him!

re: Things many fans don't notice

Couple of things to add. OL problems can be largely attributed to the teams we have faced so far bringing extra men in the box. Yes, I know that there have been some miscommunication and footwork problems but those will resolve as the season progresses. The only way we will get teams to back off of crowding the box is to complete some intermediate/long passes. Once this happens, it will cause 2 different things to then happen for us. 1) the OL will be better able to open running lanes and 2) Pass blocking will get much better and JJ will be able to visualize the middle of the field and find those receivers (kind of hard to visualize the middle of the field when you are rolling out one way or another to avoid pressure).

Come back Sunday after ya'll have proven you can do better. Me thinks you are in for a surprise my freind. You may win but you are gonna SWEAT!
Don't bother TigerDenWest. This board just made up of miserable people who aren't happy unless they are bashing the team that they are so called fans of along with any fan of said team who even thinks that anything positive could be suggested about our beloved Tigers. I for one feel like its a fun way to find interest in an otherwise unrelated game this weekend. In fact, a win by UW would help us down the line in the BCS picture if we take care of our business.

lets's play What If!

What if Washington beats USC this weekend? How will that change your opinion of the Tigers and their chances this year?
Definitely The Chimes for lunch and drinks. Great atmosphere. Then walk around campus to see all the tailgating. Also a nice place to relax and drink and watch afternoon games is Northgate Tavern on chimes street.
LSU wins toss but defers. Defense provides impressive display of improvement from the start with a sack and fumble recovery. JJ quickly takes advantage of a short field and throws his first TD pass of the day to TT (7-0). Defense then provides a three and out. Tigers run a few plays resulting in 2 first downs and then RS makes his debut as a tiger running option with Holliday but gets stuffed for short gain (none the less, crowd goes apeshit). JJ returns and manufactures drive to the Vandy 16 that then stalls as LSU settles for a FG (10-0). Vandy receives kick-off and puts together 60 yard drive (much grumbling from the negatigers) resulting in a FG (10-3). End of quarter.
LSU starts 2nd quarter on their own 48 yard line after a nice KW return from the 1. Offense produces a couple of nice runs to get the Tigers to the Vandy 32 and then Chuck Scott catches a screen pass and breaks it for the TD leaving a couple Vandy players wondering how the train rerouted itself through Tiger Stadium (17-3). Next Vandy drive is stifled by a Nevis sack early and then a delayed blitz on 3rd down by CJ. CJ then has a nice 40 yard punt return negated by a block in the back. Tigers start at their own 16. Couple of nice runs by Scott gives the Tigers some breathing room and again RS enters the game and this time is as advertised with running plays of 12 and 16 yards followed by a TD pass to JoJo Lafell from the 18 yard line (the crowd collectively toast one another and begin to look forward to the next 2 years)(24-3). Vandy runs clock to proceed to half time without further pain.
3rd quarter LSU receives the kick-off and produces another impressive drive under JJ with pass completions of 8, 12, and 23 yards. Shep returns to the game, this time at RB and proceeds to juke Vandy players out of their jocks as he scores his first rushing TD as a Tiger (crowd begins to chant "bring on Tebow")(31-3). The 2 teams then trade off short and ineffective drives as our defense continues to impress while Les starts the apply the offensive brakes. End of 3rd quarter.
4th quarter opens with Vandy on a long drive aided by some softening of the defensive play calling. Vandy is disappointed, however, by an INT by the dreadlocks of doom at the Tiger 5 returned to the Vandy 38. Williams and Murphy gets some carries getting the Tigers inside the Vandy 10 before the drive is stalled by penalties. Tigers settle for a Jasper FG (34-3). Happy fans begin to trickle out of Tiger stadium as the game winds down. 2nd string defense surrenders a late TD to the commodores as time expires in a game that gives bright hope to the rest of the season!
