Awesome. Try to get down to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and don't sleep on Agra fort if you do. If you're flying in and out of Delhi hit qutub minar if you have time. All of those are cool AF.
My man

Does she have acting range? I’ve only ever seen her in GOT.
She was in two X-Men films, and her other films weren't something that I would normally watch. She wasn't that great in the X-Men films. I find her to be very wooden

Don't do it man. One of my idiot co-workers did it and ended up in the hospital for a week on some gnarly antibiotics to kill whatever he got. It's not just a case of the shits. You're going to get that just from some residual shower water and ice so you'll get the Delhi belly experience regardless.
Message received. I actually am going in March for Holi, but I'll avoid the street food.

I had to look her up. Thought for sure she was trans. She really isn't. She just looks manly.

I'm so culinarily adventurous, that I really want to travel to India and try the street food, knowing that it will give me explosive diarrhea
re: Lebron to wear commemorative patch this season commemorating himself
Posted by HuskyPanda on 1/14/26 at 9:30 am to Fun Bunch
I know everyone here hates Lebron, but this is specifically for Fanatics trading cards.
After the games they will remove the patch, cut it up, and place it in trading cards to be sold for an absurd amount of money.

I mean I don’t think very many people out there disagree with you. I just think there was this massive “you have to go to a 4 year university” push for so long that people are almost over encouraging looking at trade routes now to balance it back out.
I wasn't a school person, and really had no desire to get my undergrad. But dame near 1 year working as a Roustabout completely changed my tune. Went all the way to get my Master's.
I'm made for office life.

re: Trailer for Marvel’s Wonder Man

It does look good but I’m cautious with that. Marvel makes good trailers and the show ends up sucking. Ie Secret Invasion.
re: Is there a show that you absolutely hate? Why?
Posted by HuskyPanda on 1/2/26 at 8:21 am to Tiger Ugly
I’ve only watched one episode of Friends, and it was the series finale. A girl I was trying to have sex with invited me to her series finale party so I was forced to watch it. It wasn’t funny, and the characters were annoying. Worst part, I didn’t get laid.
re: Are your parents pushovers for the grandkids?
Posted by HuskyPanda on 12/30/25 at 8:14 am to SaintlyTiger88
Mine are a shell of themselves with my kids. Both my parents were in the Army and were very heavy handed at home with us.
Got our arse tore up for any and everything.
With the grandkids, they are the nicest people in the world. They can be strict at times, but much, much softer than they were with us.
It infuriates me, but I get it.

I don't even care that he's gay.
Same, but where do they even go with this? I think most people kind of knew he was gay but now that it is out, what does it do to advance the plot?
The last episode is a 2 hour event, and I can't imagine it even gets brought up again.

Based on the trailer, it just seems like a boring movie, and doesn't really tell me anything about the plot.
Surely the trailer studio that made this could've done a better job.

I got a Husky 52in mobile work bench tool cabinet, that I've been dying to get because my tools are everywhere and not organized.
I've gotten to the age where I love going to the tool section at Lowe's or Home Depot just to see if I need anything new. I'm my dad now.

re: Moving to New York in your 20s

Old coworker did, and is still there.
Dude was from down the bayou and got laid off from our job we both worked at. Dude just up and moved to New York.
At first he sub-leased a room in an apartment with 2-3 other people he didn't know. Now he has his own place with his wife and kid.
It's been about 10 years for him. I really didn't think he'd make it, but proved me wrong.

Step 1: Be attractive
Step 2: Don’t be unattractive
If you aren’t attractive, go on ahead and update that resume.
