I agree he could choose to declare to the NFL draft as far as we know. It looks like a weak QB class this upcoming draft.

Monte Kiffin and this was his only headcoaching job.
I remember several fans bringing up Saban's bowl record that he 0-3 including a loss (26–45) to Dinardo the coach he was replacing. MSU was again blown out (0-38) by Stanford in the Sun bowl. Next season lost to Washington (23–51) in the Aloha bowl. The following season misses out on a bowl game.
Saban record at MSU before the 99 season (9-2) was just a few games over 500% that 99 team did beat Flordia in a bowl game but LSU hired Saban as its coach in November so he did not coach in the bowl game.
So LSU hired a coach that did not win a bowl game in the last 5 seasons and yet to have a double digit win season. Very different situation with Kiffin.

It's the offensive line. LSU is replacing 4 starters in that unit. Football analysts usually look at offensive linemen individual starts and starts together as a unit as a quick way to project the record of a football team. Well LSU has only one returning starter in Chester and they lost high profile talent to the NFL in Campbell and Jones which will be hard to replace.
He will be 26 near the start of the season. Been in 3 programs and only had one productive season. He will get drafted but the upside is low because of age and lack of game experience.
You can say the same about Daniels and Nix but they are both off to the great starts to their careers.

Was named as an defendant in an Diddy lawsuit. I wonder how many high profile athletes went to the Diddy parties?
The knock on him is arm talent. Scouts say he can't consistently make NFL throws. There have been QB in the past that did ok with average arm strength but they had to be in an offense that can hide their faults.
Yeah a Vance and Rubio ticket could be the most likely scenario for the Republicans.

He was 17,18,and 19 years old when he was at LSU. Most guys are 19 years old as freshman.
