I thought about softening what I described because of your situation, but I didn’t.

I appreciate your candor. And I definitely hope my brother’s experience hasn’t been as bad as yours. There’s really no way for us to know. But it should all be over for him any day or hour now. We are at peace with letting him go, though we are all missing him terribly. Thanks for sharing your experience and I’m glad you survived and recovered to enjoy more life.

Just a sustained, coherent 24/7 month long nightmare that used the faces of the people I love most.

My God, that’s horrifying! I’ve been praying for the last few weeks for God to take him out of the prison he’s been locked in. We are ready to let him go so he can go to God and rest in peace.
Were your eyes ever open during your coma? I’m asking because my brother is in hospice now near the end. He had a major stroke three months ago that caused major brain damage and was totally comatose for three weeks.
For the past two months he will be intermittently awake. But he can’t communicate or move voluntarily. He did respond to verbal cues until recently with small gestures like blinks and quick hand movements.
I’ve been so sad seeing him trapped like that…Wondering how much he’s actively perceiving.

I voted for Keyes in the 2000 GOP primary

So did I. I knew back then that GWBush was nothing more than a “kinder, gentler” conservative who would only somewhat slow down the advancement of the Democrats’ regressive policies while advancing the Globalist agenda like his father.

It’s too bad the average American Republican voter was still blinded to the RINO game. Now more than ever we need intelligent men of courage like Alan Keyes if we’re going to save our civilization.

Perhaps the Creator made the Universe so infinitely huge to handle that problem.
Then our common ancestor sinned. The Creator didn’t want sin and all its horrendous effects spreading out into that Universe. So He put death in place to limit that problem until those who wanted to be freed from sin were perfected once again to pick up where Adam left off.

I have a similar thought as with the upcoming Odyssey movie…everyone already knows the story

I’d wager most people know way less about David than there is to know. Especially kids. This movie could easily be fleshed out into a series.

David’s story is fascinating and a deep study into the heart, soul and character of mankind.

The relationship between David and Jonathan felt unexplored, largely reduced to a montage.

There was only two hours available for so many available plot lines. They really packed a lot in with what they had to work with.

what did he think about the party where he brings Saul 200 foreskins?

Yeah we didn’t get that scene

They only had two hours to give us the main highlights from the first half of his life.
If you want a more comprehensive telling there’s enough material for a five season series that could be fascinating.

Is Bathsheba hot?

It didn’t get to that later part of his life. If enough people go see it maybe we will get a sequel?

Took my grandson to see the David movie

And I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of this film. This is not one of those second rate attempts at a faith film that we often see. The animation, storytelling, flow, and faithfulness to the Biblical narrative is all very top notch.
David is one of the most fascinating characters from ancient times. And this movie really does it justice.

Also, it’s rated PG, so it’s able to portray the serious and gritty elements of his story, but in a family friendly way.
A great movie for all ages to enjoy and be inspired by. Highly recommended!

Put him on payroll at minimum wage and form a 2 man group with BCBS. You or he can then deduct his premiums. Rates and coverage may also be better.

Might look into this option. Thanks.

That is what he should have been paying. He wasn't because of subsides put on during the Covid scam.

How in the hell does it make sense that my 21 year old should cost more than my policy at 54?

We both have individual BCBS plans with fairly high deductibles.

Why did his double and mine only went up 20%? There’s no rhyme or reason to any of this shite.

The subsidies for the affordable care act have expired

My policy jumped from $387.00 to $453.00. I’m 54 and out of shape.

How the hell does it make any sense for me to be paying significantly more for my 21 year-old healthy son?

Probably because he is an adult on someone else's policy and at a higher risk to abuse the service. People who spend other people's money are not good for business.

I have an individual policy for him. How would he abuse it? He’s a fit and healthy young man who exercises and is obsessed with healthy eating.

I purchased this individual policy for him myself 9 years ago. I’m self employed.

Medical Insurance Doubled

My 21 year old son’s medical insurance just went up from $272.00 per month last year to $534.00 per month. This is a BCBS policy I’ve had on him since he was 15. He’s had no major health issues of any kind.

WTF is going on??

A minivan would be more practical than what you are using the mustang for.

But a minivan isn’t fun to drive. Nor are they convertibles.

Corvette…

My Mustang is way more practical to drive vs a Corvette. My wife and I fit comfortably and have room for plenty of luggage, Costco runs, and other crap I like to keep in the trunk. I’m actually surprised by how much I can fit in that car!
It’s also easier to get in and out of vs a Corvette (I’m mid 50s). Comfortable for long road trips too.
I bought a used 2018 Mustang eco-boost premium convertible with 47,000 miles on it in early 2020.
I don’t care if some douchebags drive Mustangs. They’re great mid-level cars and are popular for a reason.

I’ve put 90,000 miles on it so far and no major problems yet. I’m 6’3” and have plenty of legroom. It handles great and has more power than the V8s from 20 years ago.
It’s awesome to put the top down on good weather days here in the south. Best times are from September to June. Highly recommend.

This is the kind of angry black woman we need in America today.
