What is remembered is Damian Wilson being teamless because he is asking for the moon to pay for his conundrum in Georgia.

What happened to him at UGA? Did they sue him?

Does Lsu Alexandria, eunice, or Shreveport count? How about the Med Schools in north or south Louisiana do they count?

Yes, they count. They're part of the LSU System.

He's finally got Minnesota's pass defense up to snuff finishing #1 in the NFL. That pass defense over the last 6 games had been crazy. His pass defense had carrying that Vikings team. McCarthy is so arse, that offense is so arse.

Minnesota needed to fire their GM yesterday. That guy is pure trash. They let Darnold walk. Hell, Daniel Jones was playing well before he got hurt, and they had him there last year. All that for McCarthy to play like dog shite with one of the best receivers in the league.

This petty mess is going to hurt ole miss. Refusing to let kids in portal will stop players from going there

Solid leadership from the top down!

Just don’t let him have a camera phone in the locker room

The two remaining Weeks brothers are installing Faraday cages outside the locker room doors as we speak!

Still don't buy it. That kind of money goes to a QB who can carry your team, and he wasn't that type of player. And, your comments about Bama's challenges running the ball reinforce my point. If he needs a productive running game to be a productive QB, then he's not a $6.5m player. He's just a serviceable QB who can put up good numbers running a balanced offense.

Also, he's picked to be the 3rd or 4th best QB in a weak QB year.

I buy it because they're paying Mensah $6 million on top of his $4 million buyout from Duke. That's $10 million!

Nice try, Fed.

j/k I’m in Mississippi.

Been through there many times. I'm 2 hours down 84 from you across the river in Louisiana. One of my roommates at State was from Wesson.

Not “will be,” he IS a dumpster fire of a hire and the worst DC the sec has seen in a long time. Why they panic hired his fat drunken arse is beyond comprehension

Keith Carter is a retard.

Plus, I don’t think UGA is a good standard of measurement for transfer classes.

hahaha... Not at all. You have a bad arse squad!

My uncle grew up in Tuscaloosa, so he is a super hardcore Bama fan. I just hope he doesn't have a coronary. My mom's side of the family is all Bama 24/7/365.

I like your basketball team, and I pull for your baseball team when you're not playing LSU. That shortstop you guys had last year was a baller.

I hope y'all can put something together and make a run in March.

As far as football goes, you definitely have good players. Grubb just needs to figure out how to run the ball. Also, we at LSU know it's tough when The GOAT is gone. We got to watch it for 17 years!

LSU is basically a free community college for instate kids. The academic standards are ridiculously low and well over 90% of the students are heavily subsidized by the state to pay their tuition.

Tulane is the only college or university worth a damn in that state and it’s no coincidence that it’s the only private one and has by far the highest percentage of out of state students.

Tulane isn't the only private school in Louisiana.

BS - Mississippi State 2001
MS - LSU 2012

We lost a lot of potential talent and guys who were overrated. All of our top producers stayed.

The days of keeping potential talent on the bench are over, especially for us because we dont have the money like some other schools do.

LSU will be fine. Lane can win with good QB play.

Yep! That's the really bad part about all of this.

It's weird seeing kids transfer out of Alabama. That's not a knock or anything. I'm just old school and loyal. Alabama has been a solid program for most of my life. I remember the white helmets back in '83 and '84.

What is the 3rd Party NIL like over there? If it's not up to snuff, Greg Byrne needs to start beating on some bushes. That's his job!

This is starting to look like one of Saban’s stacked Bama rosters on paper

Yep! We aren't done yet either!

The guys say LSU has the best QB room and the best WR room in the country.

We do!

still doesnt explain where the loss of 300k in this situation would be deducted?

We don't know what Ole Miss was paying him, but it's obvious they're low-balling some of the current players. If his fair market value is high enough, our deal could exceed theirs and pay off the buyout at the same time if he agrees to that. If he wants more money that exceeds his fair market value, it would have to be paid out of Rev Share.

It could go either way.

One other thing is schools can agree to pay a buyout via installment payments which could spread out the obligation over, let's say, the next 2 years. Knowing Ole Miss, they will want it all up front.

If Manny wanted to keep Miami from taking his players, perhaps he should have not gotten fired as the head coach of Miami.

ECIN!!!!

People keep saying money comes out the NIL Pool but not one of them explain this.

There is no NIL Pool!!! NIL is unlimited with no Cap!

Do they Mean the Revenue sharing Pool???? if so and 300k comes out of that WHO GIVES A frick MAKE IT UP ON THE NO CAP NIL SIDE!!

The NIL side has to pass through the clearinghouse, so there is a Fair Market Value cap on it. The Rev Share funds aren't subject to the clearinghouse.

They know what they're doing though, and the deals have probably been NIL market value plus Rev Share on top of that to make the icing on the cake.

We have the top head coach in the SEC

YEP! I've always liked Lane. I'm also proud of our school, state, fans, alumni and benefactors for embracing him in the short time we have had him. He wants the same thing we want, and he will work his arse off trying to accomplish that.

No one is perfect, and things might not always be pretty on this ride. We just have to stick with him and keep him pumped up and motivated to put forth his best effort one day at a time. If that happens, everything will work itself out!
