Still battling to get my now (to be) 1st grader and (to be) Kindergartener in a school out here because I refuse to send them to Walker. We’ve had to homeschool/pay for someone to come in and teach our children the end of last year and this year. It’s been ridiculous and this board feels they do not have to answer to tax payers who have children in this parish. I have a total of 100 emails from parents who sent complaints to board.. I was forwarded with request for Walker Elementary to put on the agenda and they refuse. Who knows how many more requests of those who haven’t reached out to me.
It’s a corrupt good ole boy system out here. Most people are scared to speak out and the teachers who have not left the parish will be punished if they publicly speak out. New teachers from WES have already reached out again this year about this Principal.
We have now after 8+ months hired an attorney to handle this moving forward. The Superintendent, Wentzel is aggressive and unprofessional. LP won’t give us a transfer, discuss the situation being handled improperly or answer how it will be handled differently.
LPSB’s extremely smug attorney denied our request to meet with LP Superintendent and Principal to discusss the situation and how we can move forward with feeling safe enrolling our children.

Bonnie Cox was brought the pill and helped Dawn the bus driver bag it in her office. Which was stated by the school board on recording.
The principal failed my son and did not even know what the pill was upon contact. I was then lied to stating the PD was investigating it. I then called Walker PD who knew nothing about it.

Can you please let me know the holes in my story? I’ll be patiently waiting. My truth in which has been verified by the school board as THE TRUTH on recording has never changed.

My son was immediately brought to the pediatrician. I also called Walker PD immediately to have them identify the pill my son took. So there was no need to drug test my child unless I planned on suing. Thanks for trying to change my truth. The truth in which has been confirmed on recording by the assistant superintendent’s conclusion of the second investigation done only because I took to social media and to the media to get answers.

My number is still the same as well as the fathers. Our doctors has had the same number at his practice for 20 plus years who could have and should have been contacted as well.
Bus driver called the school board and spoke to Wendy Gill heard if transportation at 8:01 right when she found it and pulled into the school. The principal was immediately notified as well. She never had my child examined nor told his teacher to watch for sign. The first phone I was lied to saying the had to investigate this was at 9 am. The next phone call completely different story. The school board immediately backed the school and lied as well. I called the bus driver to ask why she wouldn’t of made sure my son was okay.. why she waited an hour to report to principal she she sent me a time stamped picture proving them to be untrue.
School boards just finished their second investigation in which states everything in my post is true.
Bus driver has never been kicked off her route and it has been stated she did exactly what she was suppose to do.
Bus driver didn’t driver one day only because her daughter has cancer and she was out. Please don’t spread lies about the only person in this whole investigation who had enough integrity to try and do the right thing as she did.

School board has confirmed my post to be true on recording. I’m meeting with them tomorrow to go over protocol and to get answers on why I was lied to and this cover up that took place.
I answered the very first time I was contacted. It’s a shame a concerned parents comes forward about a situatuon handled unproperly and somehow they are the bad guy. You’re probably one of the homegrown Livingston Parish people who don’t mind this type of corrupt good ole boy behavior.
I’ll continue to speak out on it.

My son doesn’t need pills to sit nicely and learn. He went into kindergarten being able to read. He’s never been in trouble. He has been Star student 2 times and Wonderful Wildcat 2 times as well.
He’s teacher has bragged on him numerous occasions and even after the incident still does.
The pill was identified by Walker PD. The office never questioned my son or checked on him. Never notified his teacher to watch for sign nor called me.
I was also lied to and told they didn’t call me because they had to investigate my house to see if the pill my son ingested came from my house. Next phone the story changed to they didn’t know until 8:40. The was proven another lie. The school board has confirmed the lies and the cover up after going to the media and social media. Thanks for bashing a 5 year old though. Great mentality.

Have no plans on suing and I’ve said that since the beginning. I asked for answers to why my son didn’t receive treatment, why I wasn’t called, immediately I was lied to. It’s all on recording and also the school board has confirmed.
Guess what now still no plans on suing. Meeting with the school board tomorrow to go over protocols being put into place. Also to discuss why I was lied to and why was this principal more worried about her school looking good than my child’s life.
I posted my status on Facebook for the parents in our neighborhood who have kids who ride that bus in which drugs have been found on twice in a one month span and not a parent notified the first time. There are a handful of 4 year olds who also ride that bus. I pray your family never experiences anything like this. I just care deeply about my kids and the other kids in our district. So I won’t allow this corrupt LP good ole boy stuff go on where I am trust people with my children’s lives 5 days a week.
Children are curious by nature no matter what you teach them when the are under 7.
