I usually don’t tell people their opinions are wrong but you’re wrong.
Hard to pick a year but I’ll just choose 2004 because I have been listening to Velvet Revolver a ton lately.

Velvet Revolver - Slither or Fall To Pieces

Audioslave - I Am The Highway

Linkin Park - Numb

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out

Modest Mouse - Float On
Another one that comes to mind. While they didn’t say they played better than the headliners but I laughed when I read about it.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers actually opened for Kiss in 1976. Such a strange ticket lol. If I remember correctly Gene became a huge fan of TPHB.
I read in Mark Hoppus’s book that Blink-182 went on tour with Green Day and everyone wanted to see Blink on that tour. Blink would open but Green Day was the headliner.

He said that their set stole the energy and spotlight from Green Day. He also said Green Day never wanted to tour with them again after that.
You could make this argument about every coach that is with a blue blood program.

Just because Nick Saban cheated his way to all those championships doesn’t mean everyone else has to do that.

If your coach is still getting top 10 recruiting classes and consistently making the playoffs he’s a good coach IMO.
Anyone else rooting that college athletics burn to the ground.

I’m still watching but damn they are making it hard.

Just take it out back like Old Yeller. Good night sweet prince….

I posted this in the meme thread as well.
Dwight Yoakam wrote a song about this.

Why would he leave? He’s just the lackey for the owners and he plays the part well.

People thinking change is gonna happen are smoking crack. The NFL is printing money right now, especially with the streaming services being dumb and giving them anything they want.

And I've never gone to bed with an ugly women, but I've sure woke up with a few…
Super Bowl has turned into a social media influencer event.

NFL really just wants $$$ and doesn’t care about the fans that made the sport what it is.

I’m playing golf Sunday.
Didn’t they just get the number one football player for the 2026 class?

My take away from this is that uncle Tillman is spending more on the football team now that they have a good coach. Sampson crying to the media in hopes to drive up more donations.
I never understood this mindset.

Why does this generation care about players “getting that bag”.

You’ll never be friends with them and they won’t ever know your name.

I had a friend join Golfcrest around 2018/2019 and it was crowded then. I keep hearing they are full and couldn’t imagine the pace of play out there now.

Timbercreek is terrible. They live off the people that think they are rich and want to show off shiny things. It’s a fine course but wayyyyyy over priced for the condition. At best the course is 6.5/10.

I’m on this side of town and my rotation is Bay Forest, Eagle Pointe, Gus Wortham, Moody Gardens, Atascocita, Wildcat and The Wilderness.
I had a full bag fitting and I absolutely love my driver that I got fitted for.

My irons are a different story. I gave them 2 golf seasons and never saw improvement from my previous set of irons.

I got rid of them recently. I went and hit a bunch of used sets and just went with feel over any data/specs and I’m already seeing improvement in my irons.

I think hitting on mats makes a difference and would advise not to get fitted indoors on a mat for irons. *Warning this is just my opinion and I have no facts to back up this claim lol.
Audioslave self titled album. I’ll never get tired of playing it.

Velvet Revolver Contraband is fantastic too.
I always hear this argument about Allen but I feel like at least he scores like 35 points in his losses. Not saying he doesn’t do dumb shite but he also makes up for it.

He reminds me a lot of James Harden.
