You've overcome so much adversity this season. Nearly every player has been injured and yet they've worked through their injuries by raw perseverance and grit. And despite the injuries, you've had the greatest season in program history.

Why? With a 12 team playoff Bama (and others) can recover from a week 1 loss against a P5 team. It's more games, but makes the season more forgiving.

We have big gaps in our lineup. Totally non-competitive at bats at times. Don't think we'll go far in the postseason because of it.

Texas, who famously has no federal regulation of its power grid, just had an embarrassment of epic proportions on the world scale. Millions of people (including me) went without power, heat, water, etc. for nearly a week. Plenty of people died. In *Texas*--where there are no federal regulations.
