I don't believe I did. I use don't buy any "extras."

I just checked. I actually purchased replacement coverage.
This is for my daughter's vehicle. Looks like I'll be getting a brand new replacement tire.

Other tire shops? Probably not
Any recommendations around the BR area? Tire has less than 3000 miles on it.
Fix-a-flat an option here (if the tire has been punctured)?
Tire shop repair

Would a tire shop try and repair this? Is it too close to the sidewall? Would a can of fix-a-flat work in this instance?
Note, I have not tried pulling the foreign object out of the tire, yet. I am sure if the foreign object has totally pierced the rubber of the tire.

As much as I like Cafe du Monde's beignets, I believe Loretta's taste better.

Adding blocking inside the walls (new construction)
Posted by Will Cover on 2/25/26 at 7:48 am
I've always heard to use 2 x 6 to add blocking before the drywall goes up to help with hanging items (toilet paper holders, TVs, thermostats, towel holders, cabinets, railings, mirrors, etc.) to help add strengthening behind the drywall, and to take away the guess work.
I just saw a video last night where a person recommended using 3/4" plywood instead of 2 x 6 and to go ahead and apply the plywood to all of interior walls (after insulation). The cost is minimal from what they said and truly eliminates any guess work even with blocking.
Is 3/4" plywood strong or thick enough to hold a TV mount (or cabinets -- I would like to think that a cabinet installer will go directly into the studs) as compared to a 2 x 6? Does the plywood also help with any sound deadening as well?

I'm not one that craves pizza. But I actually like this one. It's really good, and damn good for frozen pizza.
Networking closet help for a new build
Posted by Will Cover on 2/24/26 at 6:43 pm
I am currently planning a new home build and am setting up a dedicated networking closet. My goal is a clean, hidden setup that stays simple but functional. I already have my Smurf Tubing ready to go and plan to run PoE to every bedroom and the office with multiple drops in each room. I also have two or three wireless access points planned for the ceilings.
Inside the closet, I want to hide my fiber box, a 24 or 32-port Ubiquiti PoE switch (leaning Ubiquiti), an A/V receiver, an Xbox, and a Blu-ray player. I would prefer to have everything seated right in a networking rack if possible.
I am looking for recommendations on what type of networking rack I should consider. My main requirements are that it needs to attach to the wall and provide really easy access to the back of the ports for maintenance. Since the A/V receiver is likely the deepest and heaviest piece of equipment, I want to make sure I get the sizing right.
I am also still undecided on whether to go with Cat6, Cat6a, or Cat7 for the runs. If anyone has suggestions on the best rack models for this type of setup or advice on which cable standard makes the most sense for a long-term home build, I’d love to hear your thoughts -- and see your setup.

I bought 12 of them from 44 Farms. It was the best deal I could find.
