re: The first wave of woke surgeons have arrived in the US

That doctor was essentially stating that 2 + 2 is not equal to 4. Why would anyone respect a person who ignores objective reality. This is especially true for a person who is supposedly highly educated and should practice without bias or prejudice. If anyone wonders what was the mindset of communist official in the Soviet Union just listen to these ideologues.

It will be a bad thing. Indians are ok when they are few and far between. If you want to see what happens when you let a bunch of jeets in travel to Vancouver or other major cities in Canada.

Lived down the street from a guy that had a beagle named Packingham after the British general that was killed in this battle.

If you don't have a strong grasp of calculus, multivariate calculus, differential equations and a few other advanced math topics stick to physics as a fun hobby. I like reading about various topics in physics and have started reading and watching videos about the physics that was covered in the book, The Making of the Atomic Bomb.

I know right. This sounds like an advertisement for the program. If everything works out they can triple the spend for 2026.

Paretos law in action.
I visited the JFK memorial rifle range for the first time a few weeks ago while waiting for a passport replacement at the Dallas federal building. The book depository was only 3 or 4 blocks away.
re: Other cultures…..do you agree?

Some might say that canabilism is merely a matter of taste. I mean it's all food right?
Not all cultures are equal. You could argue all day long about cultural differences and the merits of various cultures. The easiest way to determine the value of a culture is to see where people go when they have the means to vote with their feet.
Western European and American culture has been successful for a variety of reasons that distinguish it from less successful and lesser cultures. There is no shame in saying that or being a part of that culture.

re: Are the Palestinians really disliked even by other Muslims?
Posted by StanSmith on 11/21/25 at 9:36 am to prplhze2000
I worked with a guy who had a Palestinian dad and a Lebanese mother. He lived in Kuwait and his dad had a business there. He told me that the Palestinians were expelled by the Kuwaiti government after the Gulf War. I told him that didn't seem fair but I followed up by searching for a reason why they did that. Turns out the Palestinians in Kuwait welcomed the Iraqi with open arms. This fact coupled with the previous history of being useless agents of chaos wherever they reside it is easy to understand why other Muslim countries do not want them. These people are like the living meme of guy on bike who blames someone else for their problems and then jams a stick in the front wheel spokes.
If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule.
I had to go to a machine shop in Monterey Mexico a few years ago. The shop was owned by the same parent company that I was employed by. It was an eye opening experience and I recommended that we move our part production out of Mexico. No matter how cheap they were there endless f ups cost us quite a bit of money. The machinist on average were making 2 dollars per hour.

I detest nose rings. Like tattoos it screams poor judgement and personal issues. I do like that the highly unstable go out of their way to mark themselves so the normals can avoid them.
The most I will tip a cow is 15 percent before tax.
re: Outgoing LSU president calls for more investment in Southern University

If he is so concerned about Southern or other hbcu not receiving enough funding he could always work as president of one of those fine institutions. Doubt he would want the pay cut and massive loss of prestige that comes with the position.

You know what else is weird? Realizing you’re closer to the end as well. It hit harder for me after my dad died.
The existential fear is real. It has taken me about 5 years to adjust. Cope by knowing that how I spend my time and energy is mostly under my control and one should not waste either one. I do miss my father every single day and am eternally grateful for having him as a father.
Enjoyed my visit to Ashville last year. Left there 3 days before the floods. Wouldn't mind living there but the real estate prices are nuts in the town. Prefer to move to TN since there isn't a state income tax and real estate taxes are more reasonable than TX.
Liked Rome but it is too crowded and touristy for anything other than a visit. You can't appreciate western civilization and European history and not visit at least once in your life.

re: Why is it that white women seem to be the most vigilant when supporting the trans movement

White guilt that has been pushed for the past couple of decades has caused white women to embrace suicidal empathy to ease their guilty conscience.
Consequently they see any support on the latest cause as a means of contrition. The worst of them view their support and being an ally as a moral virtue.
So they are willing to support ideas and people that are in complete opposition to our society and values.
This is one of the reasons I married an Asian woman. Conservative traditional values and a complete unwillingness to follow any trends.
Look at the voting trends in this country with respect to white women. They are the swing vote that keeps ridiculous ideas like open borders, unconditional support for the homeless and male athletes competing as women alive and well. Without the suicidal empathy that is manipulated we would be better off and not fearing a point of no return in our national values.
