Yea I remember that time we beat your arses in a rain storm too! Ahhh memories. More will be made for us tonight
And LSU is a 9 game winner in a weak division

Here kitty kitty

After tonight the lil kitty will be so lost, desperate
Drinking Bourbon
Smoking a Cuban
Eating Tiger meat

ND looked lethargic and Michigan looked like a team that will lose 4-5 games this year

re: HEY BAMMERS

Tua won Alabama the game himself. Without him this team looked mediocre. Louisville is expected to finish 7th in the ACC Atlantic Division. That offensive line for Alabama needs a lot of work.

They probably finish 4th or 5th.

re: Be objective about LSU today

Game will be played close in the first half. Second half LSU defense gets tired with all those LSU 3 and outs.
Miami 24
LSU 10

Canes Tigers Finally

Offseason has seemed like an eternity.
Expecting an aggressive backyard brawl tonight. Hoping it lives up to the hype.
Good news regardless of which team you root for is that it’s FINALLY here!
Had our 3 best offensive weapons out, RB, WR and TE. Not to mention our depth on the O line was worst than it will be this year with a player also out. That team overachieved going 10-3 and was exhausted by the time the season ended. Last year was Rosier’s first year playing(Kaaya) started each game in 2016.
This Miami team doesn’t compare at all vs last year. Different strengths and weaknesses.

Miami 24-0
LSU offense hasn’t come together enough yet to score game 1. Most of Miami’s points come in the second half as that D gets exhausted from being on the field all day.
Washington would crush Georgia. Auburn will win this game.
I saw we still have a flawed system but it will never be perfect.
Bottom line in my eyes: Alabama, Georgia and Clemson would of mopped the floor with them in a title game.
If Auburn was playing them in the title game it would of been different also.
Auburn didn’t get up for that game. Was more of a consolation game and they still almost won.
UCF had some skill no doubt, but not enough for the biggest stage

re: Who does LSU hire next?

Mike Bloomgren from Rice

re: Would you say the Orgeron hire

I think you’ll have your answer after the Miami game
Oneforthemoney

Definite possibility. I’d take those same odds on you seeing after the game why the Coach O hire just isn’t going to work.
Agreed Justice. I’ll be in Vegas enjoying opening weekend. Hoping for a great game that can’t get here fast enough!
Our O line needs to step up and play a solid game for us to move the ball
We’ve recruited well, have a couple guys we can reload and with returning starters in the midfield and secondary our defense should be better than last year.
True Miami fans are more worried about our O line and QB play vs your D line. If we can’t run the ball it’ll be a long day

re: Alabama’s 11 year streak....

Posted by DCANE1 on 8/20/18 at 8:43 pm to
I must admit, Alabama’s current streak is nothing short of amazing. Got to give credit when it’s due.
I was around for the Miami glory days between 1983-2003 when we finished in the top ten 14 of those 20 years and had a 20 year record of 212-42 (5 rough years cost us most of those 42 losses)
Unfortunately those days have been gone a while. I think Richt is a classy guy but I’m not sure he has the conviction or edge to win a title at Miami. If we get lucky with a very talented roster it’s a possibility. I hope I’m wrong. This season will tell us a lot.
I’d like to remain in the top ten and not be considered overrated...
Good luck all
They always take August off to celebrate their all time series lead vs FSU(34-26). This is extra special considering they’ve had two very poor coaches recently.

Can’t wait for the LSU game.
Only problem for both teams is if either win the other will be deemed overrated diluting the W.
Whichever team does win will gain big time confidence

re: Ok.. Mia vs LSU talk

Thanks Sampson- unfortunately most think LSU is going to be trash within the media and country, not Miami. It’s more unfortunate and actually entertaining that a future opponent, fan from Miami stands up to give LSU credit with reasonable thoughts to only get critized by you.
Good luck

re: Ok.. Mia vs LSU talk

LOL
Never said Miami was back... I’m not sure what others here think that is. We are no where close to winning 5 titles in less than 20 years(83-01).
No one was trying to “scare” anybody about having top talent on their team compared to LSU.
Simply making a statement. Miami has a lot of NFL caliber talent going to be playing in 2018- don’t assume we’re weak.
Here I was trying to give LSU fans an upside view vs the media, but I must not be smart enough.

Ok.. Mia vs LSU talk

Posted by DCANE1 on 7/25/18 at 9:52 pm
I respect LSU, regardless of the media and chatter around Coach O’s inability to make it happen.
I’m a UM fan and seem to have more faith in coach O than some Tiger fans which is odd considering we’re ACC.
It’s kind of exciting to me when I see all this talk about how weak Miami is. How overrated we are. We’ve got probably two 1st round defensive draft picks in Johnson and Jackson. Possibly 1st or 2nds in Quarterman, Joe Jackson and A Richards(depending on season).
Let alone others further in the draft.
I’m thinking 5 in first 2 rounds minimum.
Like I’ve said our QB is our key. If he’s 60% accurate(which I understand LSU D is legit)
we win.
I think LSU could be very good this year if the defense stays off the field.
If Miami captures offensive rhythm LSU is in trouble.
Real talk- we respect your program, respect us
I’m a Miami alum and haven’t attended a game since 2004. Due to prices and the humidity Id rather watch a game in the comfort of my own pool.
Most Miami alum are in a healthcare profession or studied law and leave the state of Florida to pursue their careers. Not surprising we could be sprinkled around the US. Also, we only have an undergrad population of about 11k per year. Many of our past students I knew of were not sports fans unfortunately and could careless.
Our attendance should be low but it’s our play I most concerned with

re: A look at what Miami is saying

Posted by DCANE1 on 7/25/18 at 2:59 pm to
There are rational UM fans outside of the stupid bandwagon gang.
I’m hoping for a great game. Not interested in a blowout by either side. I’ve come to appreciate watching good football over the years.
Obviously I’d like Miami to get the W but can see this game going numerous ways depending on QB play and confidence built early on. Neutral game sites can be such a wild card so getting out of the gate early and strong will be critical for either team.
