What weekly dose of reta did you titrate up to? What was your starting dose?

Started at 2mg per week and titrated up to 6mg per week. My progression was 2, 3, 4, 6. I should also add that I was on tirz for a year about 2 years ago and got up to 7.5mg, so when I first started reta at 2mg, it wasn't doing a whole lot for me.

How many grams of protein per day?

I used to be at 1 g/lb of protein per day, so around 185g. However, I had recently read that you only need 0.8 g/lb, so now I am at 150g per day, which allows be to get in more carbs for energy. I've been at 150g for 6 weeks,

How is your 500 cal deficit calculated? Did you do an RMR to find a base rate? Are you using net or gross of exercise? How much exercise?

I weight train 4 times per week, but I calculate my TDEE using a spreadsheet. I input my calories consumed and measured fat from my body scan scale into the spreadsheet daily. I take a 7 day rolling average of my fat and use that to back calculate my average daily energy expenditure, which is about 2700 kcal per day. I then take 500 kcal off of that number to set my macros. If you want more information on this, go look up how Macrofactor calculates your TDEE. I copied this from them.

As I have lost weight, I have seen my TDEE go from 2800 to 2700. Having this information allows me to adjust my macros to stay on track of losing a pound per week.

Some, but it is hardly noticable.

My experience with Retatrutide

Posted by Bleed P&G on 3/3/26 at 9:46 am
So I am now 2 months into a cut with the aide of retatrutide. My stats are as follows:

Height: 5'-9"
Weight: 187.5lb -> 178.5
Lean Mass: 150.2lb -> 149.7lb
Fat Mass: 37lb -> 28.6 lb
BF%: 19.7% -> 16.0%

So far I am happy with the results. I have been aiming for a 500 kcal per day deficit and dieting has basically been effortless with the help of the reta. I've been able to hold on the the little muscle that I have with dropping a noticeable amount of fat.

I am planning to continue to cut to 15% and then go on a diet break for a couple of weeks. I will then cut down to 13% which is where I want to be.

As for side effects, I've had an increase in resting heartrate, about 8 bpm on average, and difficulty sleeping in the first month. That has calmed down in the last couple of weeks. Resting heartrate is down a couple of bpm and sleep is back to normal.
My son wants a shotgun for his 18th birthday. At what age can you legally purchase a shotgun in Louisiana? is it 18 or 21?

I could buy it and gift it to him, but I though he might like it if he got to make the purchase himself as an adult.

Krewe D'Tat by far.

They don't throw much, but the floats are hilarious.
I researched all of the adjustable dumbbells in this thread and decided on the REP Peppins. I chose the Peppins because I liked the simple design and feel that they will last forever with having so few moving parts. Also, the insert plates allow you to go up in 5 lb increments.

They were delivered last week. The build quality is excellent and they feel like ordinary dumbbells when lifting.

Overall, I am very pleased with them so far.

Started this recently and definitely notice some mental sharpness and increased energy.

I learned about NMN this weekend. I'll be researching it to see if I should add it, but the little that I do know is that it pairs well with NAD+.

re: Tirzepatide vs Reta

If you are having success at a low does, keep at it. However, there is a lot of information out there that suggests that the targeted maintenance dosage is around 8mg.

I am very diligent about still hitting my cals and macros (currently targeting 2200: 180ish protein, 220ish, carb, 70ish fat).

This is very close to my macro goals at the moment and I am easily able to hit them while on Reta.

This entire week on 2, I feel almost normally hungry...so I plan to go up to 2.5 etc etc until i hit 4-6. Does this sound right?

If it were me, I would skip the 500 mcg jumps and go strait to 3 mg and see how you feel. If you feel good then go to 4 after a couple of weeks and then to 6. When I jumped to 6mg is when I noticed the appetite suppression being similar to my experience with Tirz.

re: Tirzepatide vs Reta

For Tirz, I started with 2.5 mg weekly. I did that for 4 weeks and then went up to 5 mg per week. I stayed at 5 mg for a few months, but not exactly sure for how long, maybe 5 months. I then went up to 7.5 mg weekly and stayed there.

For Reta, I started at 2 mg weekly for 3 weeks, then 4 mg weekly for 3 weeks. I am now at 6 mg weekly and am planning to stay here. I know there are a lot of people that microdose Reta, but the latest information from the Eli Lilly trials have people working up to 8mg weekly and staying there. Also, I have read that the glucagon effects start to hit at 4-6 mg.

I've taken both and have had success with both. I'll give you my 2 cents.

Both are effective. I find that Tirz is much better at appetite suppression and helps more with reduced cravings, which for me, made to easy to turn down sweets and alcohol. That's not to say that Reta doesn't suppress appetite, just that Tirz is better.

With Tirz, I had almost zero side effects. Some people get fatigued, but I never had that problem. Constipation was the only side effect.

With Reta, that isn't a problem, but I do have issues with sleep, which I am finding out is a common side effect. I believe it is because Reta increases your heartrate and metabolism, and that causes the sleep issues. Even with the sleep issues, I am still consistently getting 7+ hrs each night.

I took Tirz for about 15 months and lost 75 lb in the first 9 months. In the next three months, I had hit a wall and couldn't seem to get below 17 %BF. I then titrated down over three months, which was recommended by my doctor, to help prevent any rebounding of weight.

Flash forward a year, I am now taking Reta after doing a 6 month bulk. I started titrating up after Thanksgiving. I started taking it to help with the holidays. I started a 500 cal per day deficit in the begging of January. I have maintained muscle and am down 5 lb of fat, going from 19.7% down to 17.5% BF.

How much are you taking?

I have run this combo in the past and have not had side effects. I was taking 300 mcg of each per day. However, flushing is a common side effect.

my wife's primary care doc had no issues prescribing TRT for her.

This is my situation. The wife can get testosterone but I cannot. My total is at 400 and free is at 61. Even though I have some symptoms of low T (low energy, low libido, brain fog) I can't get it prescribed because my level is in the normal range. I've been to a urologist and an endocrinologist and I am batting zero.

re: Struggling to get all of my protein

I get these from Costco and like to eat a bag for an afternoon snack. They are not filling at all. Each bag is only 90 calories and 14-15g of protein.

No issue with taking them on the plane with you. I’ve done it many times.
Not sure about caffeine, but coffee, or any other hot liquid, accelerates the process of converting creatine into creatinine. As I understand it, if you put creatine in your coffee, it is best to drink it immediately.

Should a shoulder issue be treated with just BPC locally or is it ok to use a blend of BPC/TB for local injections? Would it be more efficient to just use BPC for local and get TB separately for belly injections?

It is my understanding that BPC is best at the injury site and TB is best in the belly. From a lot of what I have seen online, 500 mcg of BPC (or 250 mcg twice a day) and 2-5mg of TB twice a week are recommended dosages, but you should do you own homework on that before injecting.
quote:

I have been on this since Thanksgiving and TBH I am not feeling too much relief from my Tennis/Golfers elbow.

I ran BPC/TB for two 8 week cycles for my golfers elbow. My last cycle ended around Thanksgiving. My elbow is about 95% now. I can do multiple sets of chins with almost no discomfort. Maybe a little tenderness later that day. Two months ago, my elbow would be screaming after doing a couple of chins.

FYI, I was injecting 500 mcg, one cycle in the belly and one cycle near the elbow.
GHK-Cu should only be run for 4-6 weeks per Dr Seeds. I’m assuming that you will want to run BPC/TB longer than that, so I would get the Wolverine stack and one vial of GHK-Cu if you want to run Glow.

As for Nexaph, I have ordered from them several times. They usually ship same day and you will have your peptides in 3-4 days. Also, their current lot of Glow doesn’t have a COA, so you will likely have to wait a week or two before the test results are posted.

5/3/1 while cutting

Posted by Bleed P&G on 12/8/25 at 10:54 am
Which 5/3/1 leader and anchor templates have you guys run while on a cut? I want to to a 8-10 week cut after the holidays to trim off some excess fat. I plan for a 500 cal per day deficit. I've read that you shouldn't do boring but big while cutting, but I'm curious which templates you have run successfully while in a deficit.
