It tickles me that St. Louis will have two programs at this level beginning next season and the state of Illinois will have none. Particularly Chicago.
Including the Metro East STL area
This is it.

Who had Mizzou and Kansas playing for the #1 in all the land on their bingo card ?

That will NEVER happen again.
Then watch the frigging NBA then. Put COLLEGE back into college basketball.

A little boring with no major upsets. So far the highest seed that has lost is a 5 seed. That happens every year.

Last year is now the norm.

NIL has changed everything.

I don’t expect a W, so hope they keep the game respectable.

At least Gonzaga gives a shite about basketball and has produced a hall of famer. This is worse....way worse

SLU has produced 2 Naismith HOFs in their history, and also a national title when the NIT was more prestigious than the NCAA. Oh, and they introduced the forward pass to the country.
He transferred to STL after that season.

Majerus looked like it too, but it was based on coach John Bender when they had football.

St. Louisans marching through Georgia. From Sherman to Cream Abdul Jabbar. Name an iconic duo.
Gotta say, SLU should’ve got that spot.

Tudor was a favorite of mine growing up and finished his STL career with over a 70% winning percentage and an ERA of around 2.4. A largely forgotten player

And that’s really unfortunate, because I too enjoyed watching him pitch. However, he had two chances to clinch the WS yet spit the bit.
Cardinals: Cy Young (Perfectos), Grover Cleveland Alexander, Dizzy Dean, Gibson, Carpenter

Could’ve had Carlton in that rotation (fn Gussie)
Let’s be honest, the only reason Wrigley was full before and after is to get wasted.
And I’m glad that you were able to experience it. The other jackass Cubs fan on the other hand, not so much and hope he never sees another again.
No really I do. I thought kc baseball had gone back to its roots when the A’s were there and a defacto minor league feeder to the Yankees.
I was born well before and I still care less. At times, I forget that your team is in MLB still.
We don’t think about you at all, lil dude.

Stay in your lane.

At one point in the week leading up to the game, Vegas put them as a 19 point underdog. One point more than the 1968 Jets !

No one except for the rare optimistic Boston sports fan gave them a chance.
